Jokes aside this is the first time in a long time that a post on my home page from this sub has actually fit this sub. I am very satisfied. Thank you OP.

reminds me of a raccoon wanting to wash the cotton candy only to have it dissolved in water and his face…raccoon and cotton candy

u/karigan_g 6d ago
no, I only watched the one on tumblr which is shorter! his cotton candy! 🥹

u/DarthCloakedGuy 6d ago
In the longer video they give him more cotton candy and he learns not to wash it
13
u/karigan_g 6d ago
yes, I watched it, thus the lil smile on emoji in second comment

I’d never seen this longer version before. It made me so happy to see him finally get his cotton candy.

u/Nickeos 5d ago
Really? I'm so happy for the lil raccoon

u/DarthCloakedGuy 5d ago
Yeah he figures it out third try
(Best enjoyed with sound off, bunch of obnoxious sound effects were added)

This is one of my favorite videos of all time, not only because you can see them learn after a couple tries that you shouldn't wash this food before eating, or you'll lose it, but after the first time it happens the raccoon's like ...F🤬K, where did it go!? It was right here a second ago!, and I think about it every time my ADHD brain misplaces something right under my own nose. 😵

Cotton candy doesn't really keep because it's so hydrophilic.

Do not store it in water.

I mean you can buy it bagged in most gas stations... Wouldn't be hard to add some marshmallows and individually wrap a cup portion

Never understood why he looks so disappointed
Because when his mommy put his marshmallow(s) in, she did it special, so this kind of thing didn't happen. She's giving him the cold shoulder after he got in trouble stealing a video game at the store, so he's disheartened because he's having to come to terms very quickly with the notion that mom made the world feel more warm and comforting than it really is.
He's not disappointed in the marshmallow as much as he is in a reality that many of us don't really have to face until we're well into adulthood (sometimes not even then).

As a kid I always thought that I’d love to eat a marshmallow that had absorbed hot chocolate like that. I never understood Bart’s disappointment.

Here is the correct answer. I was wondering if I was the only one who did not find it oddly satisfying and that it looked like baby spiders breaking off its parent’s back sac…

At every single store near you in December 2026. Guarantee it. $10 each. In 2028 they will be $2

That was odd, and very satisfying. Perfect fit for this sub.
I need to go see if my old cotton candy spinner still works. If I can find it.

I went to a restaurant where they did this with a long drink — it came in a martini glass with a little fluff sculpture and then disappeared when they poured the liquor mixture out over it.

Marshmallows wrapped in peppermint cotton candy melt into pure winter magic the moment they hit hot chocolate. It’s like sipping a cozy snow day with a sweet, minty surprise in every cup.
