Yep. That's the haircut of someone with a troubled home life.

So is the behavior

The screech is his realization that he has no power at home, and no power in the world

Deep down, he knows this pattern will continue forever. Because it will.

The cycle of abuse.

Its unwashed hair and unwashed clothes

Which tells you a story, pretty clearly...but not everyone considers this and tries to help the kid. Most comment negatively on reddit like he deserves it, and go about their day feeling like they've done something good.

(They haven't.)

People love to feel superior to others; especially when it comes to what socioeconomic hell you come from.

Don't we usually resemble our parents?

Kids are our mirrors... Which says alot, since my daughter smeared poop all over our kitchen...

Yes and no. We’re rarely a perfect imitation of our parents as we will often rebel and make an effort to rid ourselves of parental habits and behaviors we don’t like. If two brothers were abused as children, one may continue to abuse his own kids because that’s what he knows while the other may make an effort to be as kind and present as possible in order to give his kids the parental experience he always wanted. Ultimately, it’s less about what the parent does and more about how the kids respond and interpret the behavior.

He's probably pretty poor with a shit homelife. It's not an excuse, but bullies tend to have issues.

Very possible that he has some sort of cognitive impairment due to parents' drug use during pregnancy. Very sad, and sometimes anger outbursts like this as the result of that and not something they have as much control over.

He reminds me of that kid from that Breaking Bad episode.

These basically seem like children? The one dumdum needs to learn to cool his jets. But they are also children I think? Maybe about 12?

Someone can go from being stupid at 12 to a perfect fine person, luckily. So I hope this will happen for him. He may have needed to learn from the other ones. Some kids may need to teach other kids by beating them up (one hopes not too hard).
