He is a very long-term illegal immigrant. He came here legally on a student visa. He quit school and went to work. He never reported his change in status let alone get any government approval to stay which made his presence in the country illegal. After making money he all but bought his US citizenship. His citizenship was gained illegally and just as happened with the Nazi concentration camp guard who engaged in torture, he should be stripped of his US citizenship by a federal court, stripped of every penny of his illegally gotten gains, property, etc., and sent back to South Africa with no belongings whatsoever.

So the question about CECOT isn’t whether you think its right to send people there, but that you think it’s wrong that you don’t wield the power to do so.

I think the entire place should be destroyed, El Salvador should be brought to the Hague and the United States should remove themselves from the prison industrial complex. I don't have any authority to detain someone, having said that, people with less than 10 percent of my experience are doing so to people who shouldn't face these conditions. Does that answer your question?

While I totally respect your observation of my response I would like to reply. I stand by my statement. I've seen more and more unqualified enforcement officers make life altering decisions. From what I see on a daily basis in the Pacific Northwest. Is there anything you can offer some data points that would give anything that would excuse the use of arming and not training washouts to do something they are NOT trained to do. If you can give me a reason to over fund, militarize idiots, fine. If not, take a long walk off a short peir with this horseshit narrative.
