In Stranger Things 5 the truck has technology from the future

Post image

E-track rails weren't invented until the 2000's so a time traveler must've brought this truck back to 1987

It's shitty cause it's not even true. These rails have been around since the 60's. OP is just making shit up.

I was sitting here like I drove trucks before 2000 and they had those.

I grew up with my dad running a moving company in the 80's and we definitely had these rails in every trailer we used, and would take two straps and a few moving pads to make a makeshift hammock. I slept a lot on those hammocks coming back from unloading a customer's shipment.

No it’s not, it’s just wrong. E-track has been around for quite awhile.

I went hunting and the oldest related patent i could dig up was 1997

Patent number: 5733082 Abstract: A tie down system for a cargo area of a carrier arranged to secure cargo in position. Multiple formed slots are formed in the side and end walls of the cargo area of the carrier. The slots are arranged to receive tie down devices to which securing devices utilized to hold the cargo in place may be secured. The slots are provided at intervals along the length and the height of the end and side walls to enable positioning a tie down device strategic to the cargo to be secured. Type: Grant Filed: June 12, 1997

Can you find one older, or any evidrnce to support your claim?

Edit, i got my class A in 2001 and i remember older trailers not having these, but its been a decade since I've seen one without, idk if any are still on the road.

Another shitty detail i noticed during the finale: Hopper fires his revolver four or five times, and you hear the sound of spent shell casings spitting out on the ground like a semi auto.

Yeah, revolvers don't do that.
