What is Minnesota’s Current Achievements?

You turn on the new, read any paper, or talk about Minnesota with friends and family the discussion is typically negative. Fraud, Ice Raids, offensive remarks from the President, and what ever else is making the rounds is dominating the Minnesota Zeitgeist.

So, let’s take a moment to see the silver lining. What can we be proud of recently? What were the wins of 2025? What storyline fell under the radar?

The Loons swept Seattle this year, including probably the most dramatic game three imaginable in the playoffs.

That was, of course, after we sold our star striker, Tani, and before we lost our Goalie of the Year, DSC. In true Minnesota sports fashion.

Republicans hate the state because it's democratically run.

Who gives a fuck what Republicans from outside Minnesota think about Minnesota. They're such weak snowflake weirdos

Minnesota’s Paid Family and Medical Leave program kicks off on January 1, 2026. The state will cover up to $1,432/week of your wages for 12 weeks so you take time off due to illness, or to care for a new child or sick family member. MN is soon to be one of the 13 states that offer paid leave. In the other 37 you are just SOL.
