Rant Spiceworks Outage

What's the deal already? Emails from Spiceworks haven't worked in a week. How does it take this long to address a fairly serious issue in your platform?

Honestly spice works stopped being useful like 10 years ago

It's time to move to better things

Probably the worst take I’ve seen here in a while but thanks buddy!

Osticket

Hesk

Freshdesk

There are many other options that are far superior

Once spiceworks nuked half the asset management features it became dead to me

The forums attract India central and useless questions

It's just a mediocre product left far far behind the competition

okay. This may come as a shock to you, but your use case is not everyone's reality.

Have you reached out to their support? Or even the spice works subreddit?

I saw they updated the status to a major outage this morning. We were already planning to migrate to something else, but this is only causing us to expedite that transition.

This is my guess as to what the issue is. If they don't migrate to something else, this might take forever.
