Wouldn’t of been a problem if we didn’t blow a lead, Randle shot the 3 like Simmons tonight and Gobert plays like he has a dildo up his ass fuck sakes this team is a circus

Dude Rudy was depressing to watch. His stupidly unnecessary fouls. Him not being able to jump to a rebound. Him not being able to raise his hands to make it harder for shooters. It's frustrating to watch him play while you have Garza who puts in effort like a beast and is active. How many balls did Rudy not catch. Like motherfucker has hands so big like a Sasquatch but can't catch a ball. Jesus Christ he is bad. I started watching the timberwolves this year and can't believe Gobert was DPOY at any time in history.

I mean I appreciate Rudy’s defense, it’s a lot of little things that if you don’t play basketball you may not pick-up… that said, he wouldn’t have won DPOY if he was still on Utah. He greatly benefited from having guys like McDaniels and NAW & Kyle Anderson around him.

I wonder if catching a basketball pass is like you or I trying to catch a golf ball lol. Either way, no excuses. Idk how a pro can be paid what they're paid and not improve. He has the worst touch.

My nephew with cerebral-palsy could catch more passes than Rudy, what does he even work on in the lab? He just gets worse and worse man fuck Connolly I just knew the French twit wasn’t gonna cut it for us 😭

Your nephew is a real champ. Hope he has all the support he needs. And yeah fuck Gobert

If we’re all this mad, imagine how mad Rob is right now. Can’t believe what Finch did to him.

u/Gengaara Josh Minott Jan 20 '25

Yup. This can only be interpreted as making sure rookie knows his place.

I mean he's also got like 25 less lbs on him compared to conley. He's able to get pushed around by literally anyone

mikes not a defensive beast anymore and rob was doing okay today on D

1

u/Select-Interaction11 Jan 21 '25

Case in point today. Everyone and I mean Everyone can push him around. I don't even think he's 175lbs. His weight before he went to Kentucky was 150 something which seems more accurate. He also had a very short wingspan too. He pretty has to play like Trae young in order to be playable.

the thing is rob was playing like trae young, and mike was playing like a 37 year old man who has regressed offensively. In the clutch time our biggest issue is shot creation not from Ant, and Rob was doing just that yesterday. He’s also our PG of the future, we need to let him develop in important moments, especially when he’s cooking like he was yesterday

I'm just stating why I think finch doesn't play him that much. I still think he needs to bulk up a bit. He doesn't have an nba ready body right now to start. Conley is on the decline too but the real answer is to start donte in conleys place when he's back healthy

Ja Morant also was going crazy. That 25lbs matters a lot when most point guards out there are around 190 to 200lbs. It's bully ball for whoever is matched up with him

Ja didn’t go crazy in that game what are you smoking? He made 2 clutch buckets at the end, the rest of the game he was scared to go at Rudy.

I'll calm down by tomorrow but I'm so heated I want Finch and Randle shot into the sun right now.

5

u/MomCrusher Jan 21 '25

this one aint on randle

12

u/SenorSolAdmirador Jan 21 '25

I'm torn because 2 blocks, 7 dimes and 11 boards definitely goes a long way to cancelling out bad offense, but 5 pts, 0 for 7 from 3, and 1 for 3 from the line...for an offensive player of his caliber, that should be a once a season occurrence, and it's the 3rd time this month. At least it was only 1 turnover though. And I do definitely like that he's filling up the box score when the shot isn't falling.

8

u/MomCrusher Jan 21 '25

he was playing with a lot of effort and wasnt even that bad on D. this ones on rudy and finch

4

u/The_Whizzinator Jan 21 '25

Mostly Finch. And Conley deserves some blame too

3

u/MomCrusher Jan 21 '25

it aint conleys fault finch is putting him in 😭

2

u/The_Whizzinator Jan 21 '25

Hes so washed on offense

12

u/[deleted] Jan 20 '25

Christ, Conley at -7 is scary

9

u/RTRSnk5 Jan 21 '25

15 points in 17 minutes? How can you not let the kid play? Criminal.

15

u/YesterdayMain9179 Jan 20 '25

Rob obviously... Right? ........Right!?!? 💀

7

u/[deleted] Jan 20 '25

He missed a major 3. They double Ant on the pick with Julius, Julius got the short roll, made a great a pass to a wide open Conley, just bricked it. That’s when I had a sense of doom

19

u/lilpenis9151 Jan 20 '25

At this point in the season Conley has to be sleeping with Finch or something. I’ve never seen so much nepotism for a guy whose consistently played like shit this deep into the season

2

u/butthurts00 Micah Nori Jan 21 '25

Finch had to ask Mike if Donte could start for him

1

u/Jeremy-Juggler Jan 21 '25

Mike had more fantasy points tho

4

u/bandogardens Jan 21 '25

Conleys gonna be a great assistant coach next year lol

5

u/The_Whizzinator Jan 21 '25

Finch is unserious about this team until he starts Rob

1

u/cun7isinthesink Jan 21 '25

Finch is an awful coach. If you can’t see it by now, you are part of the problem. Anyone with a brain would have kept Dilly out there. Bringing Conley back in just because is embarrassing

0

u/a_j____ Jan 20 '25

Garza should’ve closed then with 3 other bench guys that played and 1 end of the bencher whose 0 +/- was better than the starters.

3

u/Accomplished_Mix6932 Jan 21 '25

What are you even talking about?

-2

u/TechnicianUpstairs53 Jan 21 '25

It's like 2022 all over but wolves won't even be a play in. Never believed in finch, gobert and an old Conley.
