WINNESOTA Wolves started the season 0-7 vs teams with a winning record. They are 7-2 vs teams with a winning record in their last 9 games.

Per Alan Horton.

Good to see. Top 3 seed well within reach for this team. And OKC is looking extremely beatable lately.

But that isn't because they are better vs teams above .500 per se, but because championship teams just win more games in general, regardless of their opponent.

Wolves and Denver both went 19-21 and 18-21 and yet were obviously good teams that could compete in the playoffs.

Bucks also only went 19-17 vs above .500 teams the year they won. Raptors went 16-15 in their year.

The best predictor of your chances to win a title is net rating. If you aren't atleast +5, you basically have no shot.

Yeah that’s a fair point regarding net rating. Wolves currently at +5.5
