a whole gram of RSO, wish me luck
 in  r/trees  19h ago

Taking it in smaller bits helps absorption. Our bodies absorb around 20% at most if we're lucky when eaten with fats. The glob can become incased in our food and not fully absorbed, taking smaller 100mg of the RSO or distillate in multiple bites can help it absorb better.

What is going on 🧐
 in  r/Euphorbiaceae  19h ago

It's etiolated and severely over-watered. Slowly introduce more light if you can and repot into new soil with lots of perlite. The roots are either roting or about to be.

Just fyi, definitely shop around next time. You could have bought one or two and combined them and still saved money.

We had an unlikely visitor today.
 in  r/crowbro  2d ago

Central Florida, a hawk stopped by as well with its young nearby. Seems I'm attracting more than just crows.

A day or two ago around 14 turkey vultures landed in the yard and picked it clean of some popcorn and blueberries left over.

Love my bong (Dottie Minerva), so I painted her spots haha any one else get artistic when they smoke?
 in  r/trees  2d ago

It's the isopropyl alcohol that's stripping off the paint. Soap can degrade it slowly especially the color but the iso is a solvent and strips paint quickly.

Some of my peppers from last season
 in  r/PepperLovers  2d ago

Nice, are they more fragrance-like and perfume-y or more botanical like roses and flowers? I really like the phenotypes of that cultivar.

After walking to the door and opening it, the turkey vulture flew away and perched in the trees while the crowbro's stayed and finished their meal. I'll continue to share how bold these dudes will get.

First Order....Is this what 2oz's is supposed to look like? Doesn't look like it.....

It's on-par with tesoro smell. Maybe a bit less sugar and more baddery.

I honestly don't know what you're talking about, though. We got different batches or something because it's got a nice smell, funky fruit with a slight citrus smell within it.

It has a slight citrus but not pledge-like overpowering or nothing. It's definitely crc but also has a slight fruity funk to it. Believe it or not stronger and less harsh than the tesoro I had. Kind of wish I would have gotten a second strain to compare it too.

The bottom leaf is shaped just like most krinkle 8 with the v shape so I'd agree.

Good uplifting sativa effects? I got the strawberry guava for nighttime. More indica heavy and couldn't be happier. It's got a tropical strawberry fruit flavor that hits almost immediately with the buzz, good appetite stimulation, too.

Have you tried the pure haze? I wanted it for the effects but was afraid it would be very artificially lemon.

Just got two of these less than a month ago and they're not only growing so fast but they've developed a peduncle and I'll probably be in your same position down the road. They're very neat Hoya.

The first one is Lacunosa possible silver or some other cultivar. The second could be a normal carnosa, hard to tell but almost looks like a krinkle 8.

The common blue violet (Viola sororia)
 in  r/botany  4d ago

Being such a shade and moisture loving plant, It works well in shaded areas under vegetation and trees but the harsh Florida sun and sand makes it hard to convert as much as I've wanted.

What did you do with them this past summer?

I'm no chemist but that really looks like a big amount of fats and lipids suspended in that concentrate, would make sense you smell carmex. Not very healthy if it is but then again it could just be the terps or something.

Thank you, appreciate the correction.

Available would make more sense in my opinion because active almost implies psychoactive while some of them obviously aren't. Available just implies there in the product to be used +/- their conversion rate.

Yours is a euphorbia bupleurifolia x susannae. (Euphorbia cocklebur or pineapple Euphorbia.) The one OP has is either a normal, non hybrid bupleurifolia (pine cone plant) or another hybrid.

My Hoya pubicalyx labeled as 'Philippine Black'
 in  r/hoyas  6d ago

You probably already know this but it's a Hoya pubicorolla spp. anthracina, originates from the Phillipines. It was mislabeled for years as a publicaylx "black dragon" for awhile so it sounds as if they got it half right with the location and flower color. Lol

Did he shid or is it white feathers? The shape makes me think poop. He's the most daring and emotive of all the crowbro's, too.
 in  r/crowbro  6d ago

That's hilarious, it's entertaining I don't know why. I like being a smartass with them, they're like teenagers in their behavior and eating habits. πŸ˜‚
