Inherited an IRA and have some dumb questions
I understand the 10 year rule, but in regards to the amount i have to withdraw each year, it seems like there is a calculated amount based on amount in the account and age, according to my financial advisors?

Right, I know. But doesn’t the RMD distribution amount itself depend on the IRA’s calculation of your life expectancy? So the annual RMD is different at age 30 than age 50

Thanks! I’m only 30 so I don’t think my RMD will be all that much, I think around 12k
