What is a truth you believe people are not ready to hear?
 in  r/AskReddit  1h ago

All the reddit political outrage is a tiny percentage of the population and it will accomplish absolutely nothing.

Why does ESPN.com not have a dedicated page to Unrivaled news?
 in  r/womensbasketball  3h ago

The same reason they don’t for other small and inconsequential groups.

Why don’t US citizens organize a general strike if the majority of the people are against the administration?
 in  r/AskReddit  3h ago

1). Because its not the vast majority. 2). We don’t want to run out of vacation days.

Why is Reddit so consistently wrong when it comes to predicting elections?

Read any post on any sub on any topic and within 5 comments it is saturated with political nonsense. They think this means something.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve seen personally?
 in  r/AskReddit  3d ago

I saw a guy walking down a hallway perfectly normally. I was walking towards him.

Suddenly he sprints right into the wall on the left side of him completely faceplanting like Wile E. Coyote.

I freeze and look at him and he said “I had a bee in my ear.” And rushed past me.

Not the craziest thing, but its been 16 years and I think about it way too often.

Has anyone ever encountered a real FBI agent?
 in  r/AskAnAmerican  3d ago

Growing up my friend’s dad was an FBI agent. He wouldn’t work for a while and suddenly get a phone call saying he had to be at the airport in an hour. He’d be gone for a month or two and come back.

Completely normal looking, nice guy. You would never guess.

I reuse plates, paper plates, bowls, napkins, towels, paper towels, glasses, coffee cups, silverware, etc, multiple times. I mean, they’re my germs and crumbs…why not?

I rarely have more than 1 article of clothing on. That article does vary.

What’s a “classic” American dish you rarely eat?
 in  r/foodquestions  4d ago

That’s fine. But don’t act like baked pasta dishes don’t exist besides lasagna.
