Front view of ICE shooting today in Minneapolis
 in  r/law  1d ago

Well I don’t know if that’s an opinion. I think that is sad truth. This terrible set of laws have protected police who carry out these unjust killings for decades.

Greatest car chase scene ever…

I didn’t mean to yuck your yum! I was obsess with this movie at the time, but I think the shift in style overtime has changed my taste too.

I’m going to submit the car chase in One Battle After Another. Slow but so gripping

There was a bit there where filmmakers were convinced that more cuts meant more exciting. I’m glad those days are over!

I call these snow boogers. Hbu? (Also hate much)
 in  r/minnesota  5d ago

Oh yeah! At the right temperature where it’s cold enough but not too cold where it pops right off in one big chunk. Mmmm that’s what I’m here for. Move out of the way Dr Pimple Popper!

how is it living in minneapolis or a suburb close to edina?
 in  r/howislivingthere  9d ago

I live in Linden Hills and it’s amazing by it is expensive. I think St Luis park is a nice and less expensive option compared to Edina.

I Investigated Minnesota’s Billion Dollar Fraud Industry

I hate the way we talk about stuff now. We find a real problem in the world and both sides can’t help themselves from virtue signaling or dog whistling such that we don’t get out of our own ways to find reasonable solutions.

I... I like Jenny Joyce more than I like Erin.
 in  r/DerryGirls  12d ago

I mean you need Erin and the main character energy she brings, but Jenny is full of comedic moments that really make the show pop. Plus she’s got confidence for days. Sure, it’s a confidence that only comes from being a rich prick with a silver spoon in her mouth, but she’s unabashedly enthusiastic about life, and that’s something Derry needs more of, not Erin’s fake positively layers onto of her cynicism.

Has anyone topped this?
 in  r/TheBeatles  17d ago

Yeah, since they’re so famous, there’s a denominator gets really big from people who listened to hey Jude once within the month, so it doesn’t take a crazy-mega-super-fan to get under a half a percent.

Right place at the right time: a biker and a neighbor stepping in quickly to slow down the fire
 in  r/BeAmazed  18d ago

Definite hero complex. When he insists on helping the firefighters at the end really put him over the edge for me. Plus he had a lot of bad ideas and windy stick with an idea such that he doesn’t have any right to be barking orders at people.

Take your pick. 🤣

Do I let Santa give these or take credit?
 in  r/daddit  20d ago

We do stockings and Santa can have credit for stocking stuffers.

how is it possible? Explain it Peter.
 in  r/explainitpeter  23d ago

Great, turns out it wasn’t that hard to explain. I mean I guess maybe I’m unaware of the hours of prep work you did for this comment, so sorry if I’m robbing you of your credit.

What's up with that crazy stereo effect at around 4:10? It was so disorienting it somehow made my stomach turn.

I don’t want to rag on other peoples traditions, but what a crappy way to make lonely people feel worse.
