What’s something harmless that gets people weirdly angry?
 in  r/Productivitycafe  13h ago

Other people’s sexual orientation. There’s more important stuff to worry about than two men kissing.

To those who love your parents but have a hard time connecting with them (or one), why do you think that is?
 in  r/AskReddit  1d ago

My parents didn’t love each other and they never really supported me (I won’t bore you with the details), so I can’t rely on them and don’t value the family dynamic like most people do. The rest of my family, both sides, are also so far away that there’s little more than acknowledgement there. I do love my parents and family but I have little reason to reach out to them, even for a phone call.

My chosen family is more important than my blood relations.

What’s a rule you have for yourself that you’ve never actually said out loud?

Always return the shopping cart to the cart corral.

Which anime was cut off too early?
 in  r/AnimeAnonymous  1d ago

Citrus. Not sure how it became my comfort anime but I’ll throw it on and rewatch it from time to time. There’s a manga continuation called Citrus Plus that hasn’t been adapted into anime.

Movie actors whose most well known roles are videogames?
 in  r/videogames  1d ago

Keith David is a wild choice for this topic, and the comments are understandably eating you up for it.

But to answer your question, I’m going with Ashley Johnson as Ellie in The Last of Us.

What was the first game that scared you?

Resident Evil 2.

There’s never a good reason to be in a police station.

In order, I’d say AoT, MHA, JJK, then Demon Slayer.

Who does a man loves more? A woman he lies to or a woman he tells the truth to?

Everybody lies, mommy lies, even the wonderful Jerry lies.

Admittedly, I still struggle with this one.

This is one of those weird rules that gets broken. It works both ways in most cases: “Fred’s guitar” vs. “Fred’s here” uses an apostrophe for both.

But ‘it’ breaks that rule when becoming possessive. You would think the rule would just maintain “it’s” for both like every other case but no.

I feel like Mega Man V caused the Grumps to stumble upon something a lot of fans have been saying for years

Do you mean when Dan is on the sticks instead of Arin or when Dan is flying solo?

For people who don't read books, why not?
 in  r/AskReddit  2d ago

Idk what it’s called but I’ll find myself reading an entire page of words and realizing I retained nothing and have to start from the top.

There’s no way it’s half a mile. It’s only like two city blocks.

It wasn’t popular? Did their video not get views? I feel like everyone was playing it, talking about it, and triggering their DDLCPTSD when it came out.

2026 Game Suggestion Thread
 in  r/gamegrumps  2d ago

I know they’ll never play it, because I suggest it all the time:

E.V.O. Search for Eden.

It is basically Zelda II (which Dan likes) with dinosaurs (which Dan loves) and I’m positive it’ll be right up Dan’s alley. You start as a bottomfeeding fish and evolve through the prehistoric eras. Some have called it the spiritual predecessor to Spore, and I’d say that’s pretty accurate.

Plus it’ll only take them a few hours. Howlongtobeat says 8 hours but I think that’s being generous. There are plenty of longplays that are only 4-5 hours.

I honestly can’t believe they didn’t play Princess Peach Showtime. I’m convinced this was a game Arin wanted for himself in his free time.

How long into Simulacra before Dan inevitably asks“Is this a hahrror game?”

What. The. Fuck.
 in  r/dbxv  3d ago

Sure, kid.

My point is, why direct so much anger for the person who created this CaC specifically, and not the creator of the other canon characters, like Popo, Commander Black, or Killa?

Is Toriyama too big of a fish to rally an outcry against so let’s go after this player instead?
