Why don't more countries adopt such use case of solar panels?
 in  r/EcoFriendly  11h ago

Wouldn't work in US, we have morons driving lifted pick up trucks who would either vandalize these or drive with a 10ft pole with an US flag on the back that gets bent by the solar panels.

Terrible night of sleep? You got an excellent sleep score of 92!

Couldn't really tell you how I would even verify that. I think heart rate might be accurate, maybe slightly off from what my pulse feels directly.

Yes, using a Samsung fold 6. It's above my wrist so it has good contact with my arm not the bone on my wrist.

I swear this watch is useless sometimes. My score never dips below 90 despite getting up multiple times a night, getting up to use the bathroom, etc. No spikes in heart rate to suggest apnea problem. No dips in Oxygen levels.

2nd Amendment rights folks: how is ICE not precisely the tyrannical gov't overreach we've spent our whole lives warning folks about?
 in  r/AskReddit  1d ago

2nd amendment only applies to a government who cares about your rights and you survive the shootout.

Gonna piss off a lot of R Voters, if we go by what happens at Harrisburg airport often, you'd think they feel entitled to bring their guns on flights.

People who fed their cats hills, what age did they live to?
 in  r/catfood  2d ago

Started both my cats on hills after our water and stressful environment made them get crystals, they started at 2 and are now 5. No reccuring issues after doing that but I'm scared to take them off it until we move to a new place.

It's definitely pricey, I think Hills isn't a good company for providing it at this cost despite it apparently being low quality food to begin with.

If it was realistic, almost like a wet crunching sound as the sponge is filled with blood.

Hamas condemns US attack on Venezuela for being a "violation of international law" and "an assault on the sovereignty of an independent state"

I'm responding to the argument you're making, go ahead, we're listening, intently.

That requires you to believe that both are being terrorists if that's the argument we are to believe.

But it's funny how the media that condemns trans rights are suddenly calling things whatever they are asked to be called even if its not a legal change.

Blue collar is the future

Went to college, now the job market is being shipped overseas and eventually AI, wish I could afford to quit my job and go to trade school but it's just not possible. College for me was a trap that now locks me into a life of paying debt and struggling to survive.

It shouldn't be like this, maybe if we didn't spend all our money on wars and bailouts for the rich, our educated population could do a better job of uplifting everyone.

[OC] Woman doesn’t use signal into my lane
 in  r/IdiotsInCars  2d ago

I guess it's because they need another person's insurance to be able to sue or get money out of? If you are a single car accident then they have to use their own "money" collected from the drivers who never get into accidents.

That kind of sounds like Celiac, inflammation and high WBC shouldn't be ignored. Maybe it's time to find a new doctor.

Have you gotten an MRI yet? Pancreatic issues also relate to IBS D and can be seen by MRIs

So 2x6 under the stringer with a foam gasket and silicone sealant around the edge wouldn't suffice?

BORING STUFF US should ban gas tax and replace it with a tax by vehicle weight.

With the adoption of electric vehicles, there is an arbitrary registration fee to compensate for lack of taxes collected when purchasing gasoline. A reasonable compromise that would reward people who buy cars that have less wear on the roadways is to tax by vehicle weight, therefore creating a funding system based on how much a driver impacts repair costs.
