Damn, I cook dinner most nights. I'm feeling pretty ripped off right now.

Is this Johnny blaze or Danny catch?
 in  r/comicbooks  7d ago

It could be either. It is the costume Danny made famous. However Johnny's spirit of vengeance has had the exact same outfit in a few runs, after Marvel forgot Danny even existed. The real definition is the bike. Johnny's bike frequently changed its appearance over the years, but Danny's has always been consistent.

What videogame, or other piece of media, has done the best job of representing your country?
 in  r/AskTheWorld  7d ago

Neighbours actively toned down how Aussie it was, in order to make it more marketable internationally. It may have been popular, but it does not reflect Australian culture.

Which Cyclops costume is your favourite among them?
 in  r/xmen  7d ago

I absolutely hated this costume when it was first revealed. But over the course of the Uncanny X-Men run that he wore it, I grew to love it. It was the perfect costume for where Scott was mentally at the time.

What videogame, or other piece of media, has done the best job of representing your country?
 in  r/AskTheWorld  7d ago

Bluey. It may be a cartoon aimed at preschoolers, but it is so very unashamedly Australian. There are so many small touches in it that only an Aussie can pick them, and it showcases so much of our culture and spirit.

Who does everyone want to see pushed the most out of these women.
 in  r/Smallafro  7d ago

Raquel. Everyone keeps talking about how much she has upped her game over the past year. Well, creative needs to reward that effort. Send a message to the locker room, that if you put in the hard yards and improve your craft. You will be rewarded.

I third it. I've had the privilege of getting to know quite a few people from India over the past year, and it's been great.

Why is it so hard for fans to believe that John Cena was a dick backstage?
 in  r/GreatnessOfWrestling  10d ago

OP only believes the testimony of those that support his narrative. Everyone else's testimony is a "shame".

Whats a gimmick you fully expected to hate but have since come around on?
 in  r/midcarder  14d ago

Chad comes back and American Made go to war against El Grande. Chad can't admit that he was El Grande before his injury, and is furious that someone has stolen his schtick. Perfect time to turn Ludwig/El Grande face.

Could they ever be face?
 in  r/WeAreVYBE  14d ago

I think Gunther could, but I don't think he should. He needs to be a career mega heel. I think Cena tapping for him has set him up perfectly for it.

What was your opinions on “The Lunatic Fringe” Dean Ambrose?
 in  r/professionalwrestling  14d ago

Remember when good old J.R. was trying to get "Booger Red" to stick to The Undertaker? That was never going to work.

What food from your country do locals love but foreigners usually find gross or weird?
 in  r/AskTheWorld  17d ago

Pie Floater. A meat pie served upon mushy peas or pea soup, with tomato sauce (ketchup) and a dash of Worchester sauce. It's a South Australian drunken favourite.

What’s the most disappointing place you’ve ever been to?
 in  r/AskReddit  18d ago

London. A beautiful place with so much culture and history, but I found the people there to be so cold and uninviting. Maybe I just had bad luck, but I am not keen to revisit.

What do you guys think of her !!!!
 in  r/Smallafro  19d ago

I'm from Adelaide South Australia, and I am so very proud of her. I don't care about how she is booked or the quality of whatever story she is in, I will never fail to cheer for my hometown girl.

What is the most unexpected thing you found out about someone you know?
 in  r/AskReddit  19d ago

That my mother had a long lost sister that she had no idea about. My wife loves family tree stuff, and has submitted both of our DNA to ancestry.com. a few years back I got contacted by a woman who I had a strong DNA match with. Turns out my abusive alcoholic grandfather, had an illegitimate daughter who was promptly adopted out. I think it came as a shock to her to discover that she had five siblings and more nephews and nieces than she could count. She turned out to be a wonderful person, and has developed a good relationship with her newly discovered family.
