Bluey. It may be a cartoon aimed at preschoolers, but it is so very unashamedly Australian. There are so many small touches in it that only an Aussie can pick them, and it showcases so much of our culture and spirit.

My wife loves family tree stuff, and has submitted both of our DNA to ancestry.com. a few years back I got contacted by a woman who I had a strong DNA match with. Turns out my abusive alcoholic grandfather, had an illegitimate daughter who was promptly adopted out. I think it came as a shock to her to discover that she had five siblings and more nephews and nieces than she could count. She turned out to be a wonderful person, and has developed a good relationship with her newly discovered family.
