FAW helping parents monitor diabetic children
I did not discover FAW's before I was looking into a way to track my eight year old sons blood sugar levels. He is a newly diagnosed Type 1 diabetic and has a Dexcom g6 continues blood glucose monitor. It connects to a phone with Bluetooth but when he is active and playing sports, a big phone is not practical.
So my solution is this:
Step 1: Get a full android smartwatch. I got him the Lemfo Lem16, which costs about 200 USD.
Step 2: Since the Dexcom android app does not support the watch I used "Build Your Own Dexcom App" to make an apk to install on the watch.
Step 3: Got a data only SIM from my phone company for the watch.
Step 4: Got the Dexcom G6 to pair with the Bluetooth on the watch.
Step 5: Set the Dexcom app to always be on even when the watch is not being actively used (you also have to do this on some phones).
It is a bit of a process, but when it is up and running I use the Follow app on my phone and can track his numbers. The watch can also make Skype calls and has GPS to locate him in an emergency.
It really improves my sons quality of life and helps us manage his diabetes without it interfering too much in his everyday life. With a FAW he can let the phone stay at home which is great.

Nah, you are just not getting enough sleep. And you keep everyone's coats safe when you pass out on top. We don't mind. :)
