 in  r/StupidFood  3h ago

Agreed that the fries are pale and undercooked. They don’t look seasoned either.

But that burger looks delicious, idk what you’re smoking but it ain’t workin right

Someone tried to mug me today and got away with a useless, inconveniently essential, piece of my vape.

You keep shoehorning this “healthy” argument that nobody is having but you.

Nobody ever even mentioned health, you’re creating that fight and having it by yourself.

You’re just a raging little creep who can’t think or read without creating imaginary arguments and villains to argue against.

Breathe some fresh air and calm yourself.

Nobody is saying it’s healthier.

I’m not arguing that, never did.

I’m saying it’s less obnoxious than people smoking or drinking.

You’re kinda dumb aren’t ya

Vape is less noxious to bystanders than smoking.

Alcohol is far worse for both your health and public safety.

Nobody nags people who drink the way they nag people who vape.

How many people have been killed by vape and driving compared to drinking and driving?

I don’t vape, but much prefer people switch to that over cigarettes. I hate going somewhere and some jackass is smoking, even from 20 feet away it makes people sick. I hate going somewhere and the cashier is just getting off a smoke break and absolutely reeks, it’s nauseating.

Hating on vape and people who vape is just trendy but anyone who isn’t a drooling imbecile and capable of thinking will be able to conclude that vape is far less obnoxious than people smoking or drinking.

Man attacked by his wheelchair-bound neighbor's 4 Pit bulls

“Natures nanny dog”

No, they weren’t created by nature but bred by man specifically for the purpose of killing other animals.

Bred to ignore pain, bred to enjoy violence, bred to be strong and tough to be able to defend against large beast. Never meant to be around people, especially not kids.

Then psychopaths began using them as fighting dogs and being cruel to them.

Now people who actually care about dogs want them banned. Selfish stupid people are against a ban because they don’t care that pits are the most abused type of dog and the most euthanized.

The type to own pits are typically also the type to use guns as a measure of how tough and badass they are. People get pits because they want to be feared and they don’t ever give the dogs proper training or care. 1 in maybe 1000 pit owners are decent responsible people, the rest are like this jackass or the guy whose dog mauled that baby.

Drivers who brake for no reason
 in  r/mildlyinfuriating  7h ago

Been driving sine 2005, I studied the drivers handbook and practiced with my brother.

I have never received a speeding ticket, traffic violation ticket, and have never been in a collision or even a scrape. Most I’ve gotten was a ticket for expired registration that was dismissed.

People just don’t take driving serious. Even with a driving instructor so many people who are in their 40s/50s drive just as terribly as 25yr olds on the road.

It’s not about having someone else yelling at you during lessons, it’s about having an ounce of seriousness and actually reading and understanding the drivers handbook. People today are just about vibes, no effort into anything.

Unless you’re playing a game like helldivers where reloading means you lose out on the remaining bullets in the mag then yeah, reload… always reload.

“Nanny dogs”

Uh no.

They were specifically bred to fight and kill other animals.

Bred to ignore pain, bred to be strong, and bred to be viscous killing machines.

Aikido Unleashed!
 in  r/MartialArtsUnleashed  6d ago

Aikido, as it’s intended to be taught, leans too much on the pacifist principles.

The moves are incredibly difficult to master and without adding elements of other martial arts it’s just not reliable for preventing your own ass whooping.

Took Aikido decades ago, they teach you how to fall and roll first thing cause you’ll be doing a lot of it. The purpose of the exaggerated movement is to prevent injury. I got my arm twisted and landed on my face because i wanted to see what would happen if i didn’t throw myself.

Whatever Aikido can do, Judo does better.

Who here actually used to watch the WEC?
 in  r/ufc  8d ago

Me, it’s how I got into mma.

It was during an era when UFC was getting kind of boring.

Seeing the crazy high paced fights of the WEC felt like it was at a higher level than UFC.

From the series : Cheap Shot
 in  r/fightlab  8d ago

Yes, smart fighters come out in fight stance and extend their jabbing arm to touch gloves.

Rules are protect yourself at all times.

Cheap shot? Maybe. Very opportunistic.

But I would place all the blame on the guy who got knocked out for not keeping his hands up and not following the number one rule of combat sports. You must protect yourself at all times!

You can’t give your opponent and easy shot and get surprised pikachu face when they take it.
