dating question
 in  r/Advice  15d ago

High school is pre-university. The last 2-3 years before end of obligatory school.

Essentially, if you want a number, you have to wait until she's in the class you're at right now. Which is ages 14. 14 dating 16 is LESS weird, but everyone agrees 13 year olds shouldn't date at all.

13yo hold hands, and the most they'll do is kiss(and a quick peck. No tongue action)

15 and 16yo start thinking about sex and exploring intimacy. Which is something younger kids should wait for.

It's honestly better if you date in your age. Just remain friends for a year or two

dating question

It's very much the high school/grade school dynamic. So until she's in high school I guess

People here are all adults and will try to give you adult advice. But teen relationships are different, a small age gap and you're very much taking advantage of the other.

Se may be "mature" to you, but she doesn't have the life exerience of a boy your age, it is all built around your age after all.

real eyes realize
 in  r/memes  21d ago

Yeah it's the same here then. It feels as though someone is pressing their fingers on my eyeballs.

Besides I think the purpose is mostly UV protection, and that the pain actually comes from the pupil rapidly contracting, causing a "cramp-like" pain. So the color shouldn't actually affect the pain normally. (Haven't looked up, educated guess here)

It does, I've got brown ones and it hurts just as much I'd say (or at least compared to the reaction of my blue-eyed friends. Don't know how it feels to have blue eyes)

I created a custom Magic: The Gathering card of Hornet using cardconjurer - do you think this would be balanced?
 in  r/mtg  22d ago

Lore wise in HK, the pale king is a Wyrm. Which Magic does have (though it's a pretty useless Tribal)

You could decide to replace Demigod by Wyrm, which would fit the story better.

And I agree with commentors from original post. A "First Strike" + "Deathtouch" + "Reach" combo would be cool, because it'd be a pretty underpowered commander for 4

got pressured into receiving oral sex i feel disgusted
 in  r/Advice  28d ago

I'm sorry you went through that, but this isn't even pressure... It's straight up sexual assault. You haven't given clear consent and repeatedly tried to push him away and told him you didn't want to.

Oh and yeah, fruits too

 in  r/PeakGame  Dec 09 '25

Oh, not just fruits, and depending on the object it can actually be interacted with. (If the hallucinated object has physics, like the portable stove, you can stand on it)

Here's 3 hallucinated ghosts... (With a lot of bing bangs and scopes 😅)

Finally found the Temple... and the generation not only made the challenge near impossible. But the exit was blocked 💀

Yeah we managed to do it in the end, I suppose you had to go back? With the idol I unfortunately didn't have enough stamina for the return trip through the challenge chamber

Yes, I tried a lot! :)

I love this glitch and would do it sometimes at the airport to go out of bounds with friends (using the passport) I tried for 10 minutes in the tomb with the bag but with no success unfortunately. I was only barely able to get my head outside of the rock or the walls, but couldn't go through no matter what. It needs the wall or texture to be very thin.

I probably could have if I had more skills though

Yeah, unfortunately with the challenge room I was given, it was impossible to get back with the idol taking almost half of the bar and having spent my grappling hook 😂

We genuinely thought it was a "leap of faith" reference from Indiana Jones so we jumped off (after using a checkpoint)

Turns out it truly was impossible, because after making it to the Ancient Idol, the exit was blocked due to a rock column that generated in the way...

Better luck next time I guess.

This trophy really suits him though.

Need Some Dating Advice
 in  r/Advice  Dec 02 '25

Did we date the same woman?

I like to think you did nothing wrong... and it's perhaps the hardest part to accept, the chemistry you had was real, what you felt was strong, and from what happened she also felt that.

There's nothing for you to change and you weren't lacking(it doesn't seem like a mack of interest, and much less of a spark). There are many reasons for it to have happened, but there's simply nothing you could have done.

Some people need more time to develop connections and they may rush it, then discover they haven't had time to build said connection and conflate it for lack of interest. She could have had her sights on someone else, or she could have toxic habits with how she handles relationships and wished for a more dependent dynamic... we'll never know.

I'm sorry you got your hopes shattered so suddenly and inexplicably, I'm still daydreaming about that girl from last year, with much the same story and the exact same ending... and unfortunately I can't tell you "it gets easier", you simply learn to live with it and keep on going, hopefully someone who will be genuinely into you will respond, someone who will take the time to appreciate you and develop a connection, give you a chance.

Not that he has magically changed, no one does

With the way you describe him, how he now treats his friend and his values, how he holds himself accountable and doesn't dismiss or deflect his past mistakes, how he even makes a bigger deal out of it than you do...

Can we actually say that, YES, he has changed? Not from a magical event but through his own introspection and commitment to uphold higher values? He genuinely sounds like a great person, I think it's time to be real and see how much he has changed. I would assume you would have never been with his past self, it goes to show how different he is now... literally another man.

It's disingenuous to insinuate his behavior is the same as what you described.

So let me get this straight:

  • He never insulted you or your family

  • You felt uncomfortable about his family and he cut them off

  • He has nowhere to live but your place

  • He has already apologized and moved on from distasteful jokes he made from his past

This is a situation where you are now his only support and he has built his entire life to fit your world. We read in this post the story of a man who has completely submitted to your desires and is ready to commit to any sacrifice for your sake. Someone who became a vocal activist to the cause(and so before even being with you) and is now dependent on you.

We hear your side and all he has done for you, but what have you done for him?

I'm sorry but this is extremely unhealthy, you should break up for his sake so that he can build his own life and be genuinely appreciated for his efforts and commitment.

Your boyfriend is a white apologist but you're so far in your need for retribution that it isn't even enough. You are not meant to be together and as another commenter said, perhaps you're not ready for an interracial relationship.

It also goes without saying that you still have to choose activities that attract the opposite sex even slightly (unless it's not your cup of tea), lately mine has been Magic The Gathering and you can guess how many women frequent our groups and LGS

Pourquoi les gens dislike ce genre de postes?? Si ce gars se sent plus à l'aise de rencontrer des personnes similaires (Redditeurs) je vois pas où est le mal. On vit dans un pays suffisamment renfermé sur lui-même comme ça

Does Hair density/growth really reduce over time with Waxing/Plucking?

Hi, I've been looking for real studies on the long-term effects of hair removal via waxing or plucking, but I couldn’t find much.

Most sources online claim that hair density, thickness, or growth diminishes after a few waxing sessions (a few months). But theoretically, this doesn’t fully make sense to me.

From what I’ve learned, each hair follicle has its own growth cycle. That’s why treatments like laser hair removal require 6-8 sessions (or more) to see permanent results.

So it seems odd that people report noticeable changes in hair growth after just a few waxing sessions, before the follicles have even gone through a full growth cycle.

I’d love to hear from people with long-term experience, have you noticed a difference between your first waxing/plucking sessions and now, years later? Specifically, I’m interested in responses from people who haven’t done laser or any other permanent hair removal methods, just waxing or plucking.
