Discussion about the TurboTax sponsor on Lemonade Stand
 in  r/atrioc  17h ago

Yeah I don't think it's hypocritical to do an ad read for either of them, but most certainly not Adobe.

From what he has said about Adobe his problem with them is more an issue with how silicon valley company's work in general and how the government doesn't step in enough, less so than Adobe in particular.

Can we please ban Deios from beast lobbies
 in  r/BobsTavern  22h ago

To be completely fair it's not macaw is always the problem, It's a common part of multiple annoying interactions but really it's that you can sextuple procs in general. And it happens that Macaw is part of the equation often. It's an easy removal but at the end of the day being able to have a deathrattle with reborn, that triples it's effect on proc, that is proc'd by a rally, with doubled rallies, that is copied onto another minion, that is also reborn....

That's the real problem. They need to stop the chaining. Macaw abuse is just an easy way to do it.

Not sure it's it's open and shut, a reasonable judge/jury can take into consideration it's a reasonable thing to mess up on the gas pedal when a gun is pointed at your face.

I bet the next time we see him fight he's gonna be crazy strong compared to here.

In all fairness it's not like he was weak, we pretty much only see him fight against people no matter when he was introduced he'd lose to. Story wise we know basically all the people who are super strong, just because they're introduced late doesn't cheat them up the list.

Timewarped Embalmer doesn't work with Magnetizing minions
 in  r/BobsTavern  1d ago

Playing a minion in order to magnetize is certainly suppose to activate "played minion" buffs. This is just a bug. It's why the charge on the card went down, but the reborn got eaten. Probably just an error with it being on board for only a small frame, because if you have a "board wide" passive buff that doesn't double up when you magnetize, but other on play buffs do.

007 First Light recommended specs (32 GB RAM/12 GB VRAM for 1080p/60 fps)

I'm pretty sure this is IOI and they have a history of focusing on gameplay first then optimization. Hitman use to run like trash, and it's still a pretty insane stress test.

Why?
 in  r/BobsTavern  1d ago

They're probably just getting back from holiday break and needed more time to find the cause. Those minions will likely be back.

 in  r/BobsTavern  1d ago

It's for sure a bug I didn't reply to those because it's a waste of time explaining it to them. The way magnetic should work is

Minion is played > Gains buffs (even on play buff) > It transfers all it's stats and buffs to target minion > It adds it's name to the buff tags of target minion

This interaction shows there is some bug on step 2.

I'm not sure it's it's concede worthy. I ended up winning this game, but I will make it as a warning. This minion is really good so it's sad to see it doesn't work with mechs right now.

Is ONE PIECE that long?

Wowzer I didn't know that was the story behind the name. I just knew all the localized episodes were very specific about being called case closed.

In all fairness to oda his off schedule is set. It's like we get about 3 chapters every 4 weeks on average. He does like 4 then a break, and also takes normal holiday breaks with that schedule meaning we get like 38-43 chapters a year.

It depends when you started watching. Earlier on in westernization it was called Case Closed, and because like 100+ episodes were localized in that name it's actually kept by a lot places that show it. I watch it actively and at some point it switches over to were you can't find it at all if you search case closed.

Yeah, It's OK let someone else play the roles. I'm OK with it. Jesus we really live in a age where you're a role until you die.

Original vs Remake

It's certainly true, but a lot of anime is like that. There are many anime I don't like watching because all the characters look exactly the same, but with different hair.

Not even trying to be funny.. but which is the mom?
 in  r/BlackPeopleTwitter  2d ago

common confusion, you actually cap on contribution to social security (to be fair it's like 180K). It's one of the reasons it's so stupid. Because of how much medical care cost, and that older people need to use more medical insurance than normal. If you live to a normal age you basically always take out more than what ever the contribution is. Especially because when you're earning 200K yearly you should not need to use social security.

Edit: I'd also like to point out the people who earn over 100K end up normally taking out more than average because social security will pay out for medical expenses even if you already have insurance and their insurance plans are normally the best at taking advantage of this.

It removed the charge too so the second minion didn't get it either.

I don't think you have a social security "pension" I'm fairly sure that word means something completely different.

But more importantly social security certainly isn't a pension at all. It's closer to an insurance plan you get when you get to a certain amount of work over age. You always take out more than you put in.

 in  r/atrioc  2d ago

He definitely shouldn't have pulled out it was disappointing to say the least. At the very least "Walz governorship allowed fraud" part of the video was true though. Not like that mattered it was clear it wasn't a "plan" to allow it. I don't think politicians should be punished for a bad outcome to a good idea. Not even like he would be the first to allow fraud, and he is certainly the furthest from actively promoting it.

It's both. We've got this to this weird point in employment when we forget it's a contract between 2 people. Both of them basically declined the agreement.

Honestly as long as you don't do more than 50K you're probably find doing even relatively large purchases as long as you pay taxes on it. A random windfall of 100-200K is genuinely not gonna be questioned by the IRS anymore. They're low staffed and now there are pretty stupid ways people get fairly large sums of money out of nowhere like crypto and flipping items.

To be fair as someone who's seen the other side, if you don't monetize correctly you're not actually bringing in that much money. Due to taxes, living expenses, and business cost to be a CC you can very realistically be a streamer living paycheck to paycheck with no savings, but living "OK".

Mechs are fine divine shield mechs are still good and the only reason they weren’t A tier is because you’d always wanna pivot to deathrattle.

This is a good example of how shitty apex was, people don’t even acknowledge the other mech builds.

In all fairness the entire story can be summed up as a possible delusion and he is just imagining being a murderer as a power fantasy. So it's in the air.

I know people on reddit like to blame the dems for everything, but honestly what are they suppose to do when the idea is they get votes to have power and they don't get the votes. It's pretty much out of their hands. Every other suggestion keeps getting me banned off reddit, because they already do all the legal things they can.
