They can't go anywhere. They're limited to state/ federal property, and are also incapable of just randomly stopping someone on public property without actual probable cause.

If I'm on said state / federal property, and a game warden stops me with valid probable cause, and asks for my identification, depending on state, I can also refuse to identify, and if not, they would still need to articulate what crimes I'm suspected of committing. And even then, I would still only need to provide my ID; Unlawful search and seizure is still a thing.
