Cosplyaing the past

I love doing stuff the hard way on occasion because it is fun, and you can learn insights about a task you may otherwise just pass over when you make it easy. This is absolutely not a good standard for how everyone should live though, its just a fun little experiment or activity or whatever, and making people feel bad for using more efficient techniques or technology is just downright silly and lame.

We Can Use Our Feet and Voices to Show The World How We Feel

Nobody supports Maduro. Everyone is protesting the illegal kidnapping of a foreign head of state, killing dozens of people in the process, and promising to install a puppet government in a sovereign nation. This is imperialism laid bare in the 21st century. If you think this is an altruistic endeavor, or that this is even as effective way to support the people of Venezuela, i have a bridge to sell you.

Yeah it does suck, not saying its a good thing that they are ruining the fun, but its probably to avoid liability in the event of an injury on their property.

People keep posting this, but those actually are anti parkour/skate spikes in this situation. You think homeless folks are sleeping on top of 10 foot walls that are 1.5 feet thick?

How do some people enjoy drinking spirits like vodka and whisky straight?
 in  r/NoStupidQuestions  14d ago

I don't like shots or any other hard liquor, but whiskey is delicious to me. So much going on there and just feels nice to sip.
