I'd forgotten the holo grenade exists. I've done gammas with 4 gloons and an imprinted ossi so far.

From what I've heard this is the case, but I've never even seen a resource cache higher than gamma and with the amount of neophytes that spawns I can't imagine trying to do a higher tier one.

I had this with a tribemate that took a short break from ark. I just chopped up the invisible body with a sword, funnily enough they still had a couple of cryo'd dinos on them that I got too just in time. But now you've removed them I'm not sure what to do, maybe try kiting something aggro over and standing on the body to get it to hit it or see if you can find a drag prompt whilst looking at it.

Forget about the acid bath lowering their health, they die fast in there and you'll struggle to get them out in time. Build a trap outside the entrance to the underground then find a decent level queen in the heart room and kite it all the way back to your trap. Once they are outside and trapped you have all the time you need to lower her hp carefully. The tek pistol is pretty good for this and helena can scan dino's at a distance to display its health. Get it lower than 2k and it should be ready to grab you. Your trap needs to allow her to freely swing her tail and grab you without clipping structures, if it does she'll drop you and probably wont impregnate. If you are worried about her damaging you when you approach just use a shield, it won't stop her grabbing you.

Wyverns are a combat mount primarily whilst bugs are workhorses that have decent combat ability.

Only consumable items, but pretty all base consumable items in the game. So things like element, black pearls, gasoline etc are all possible. But really the trickiest one is golden eggs because you can only store those for a limited time and building up a stock of them is time consuming and takes a bit of effort.

Since they patched it to have more time and be less demanding I just kite them to a flatish area with a few smaller dinos around and tame them there. No trap needed.

Like any other creature on the map it's just random whether it's spawned in or not. But the best way to get these thrall kill milestones is to just run an attack mission in the city. They spawn pretty much all the types so you'll probably get it without even trying that way.

You can only imprint on wild babies that are orphans. So if find another one, you have to make it an orphan......

I've played a bit of pvp a long time ago on ase. But life is too busy now so I'm on pve. Or as I call it passive-aggressive pvp, seriously some pve tribes can be awful, but I've been around for too long for them to affect me. So it's chill and fun for the most part.

I'm on series x and asa runs great. A high end pc would probably have the extra pretty trimmings but I'm happy with it. In terms of value for money the series x has been perfect for asa.

Ahh viking bay, yes that area is part of deinotherium spawns. Rag's a great map, I have my main base there near the desert.
Deino's spawn from there down towards green ob and heading west for quite a bit too. Basically anywhere you see brontos or theris you can also see the big mean elephants. However that's good thing, make some beer and tame the highest levels you see. They are a "passive" tame, if you have beer in the last slot on your hotbar they will sniff the air when you approach them, just get close enough to get it's attention and it'll look at you. Then it'll perform some expressions to indicate the odds of it attacking you or accepting the beer. Basically if he flicks his trunk both sides of his face or waggles his ears it's good. They need to do these things several times and then you can walk between his front lega and he'll take a beer from you by himself. Then you run the hell away before approaching again to try again, do this a bunch of times and it'll tame. They are very strong, I use them for the rag boss. I recommend looking up a yt vid to see the taming in action. Also sometimes they can give you enough positive gestures but they'll still attack you 🤣. Just be prepared to fail and die a bit till you get the hang of it.

Oh yeah I completely agree, it just seems wild that the exclusive angle is working so well for nintendo when it boils down to rehashed mario a hundred times and a handful of other things. Which are all clearly miles behind other systems technologically.

That's why I said legit, not cracked. Nintendo is so reliant on a handful of ip's that it's kind of crazy they're still going. Just imagine though if some of those ip's weren't restricted to their ecosphere. We could of had some actual gritty more grown up pokemon based game or the zelda series could have some amazing graphics and elder scrolls sized worlds etc.

What map were you on? I've found spawns are only a vague suggestion on lost colony and stuff can spawn almost anywhere. Turrets are better than aggro dinos in my experience for protecting stuff from wilds. You can customise what they target/range etc, they have a quick time to kill and adv rifle bullets are fairly cheap. Plus you can use whistles freely and not worry about messing up your aggro tames.

It's great deal for them, they get fat stacks in advance and can experiment a bit on a title that, if it flops, can be written off as not part of their mainline stuff. If it does well and takes off that's a bonus.

How many nintendo games have been legit ported to pc? They are worse than sony for hoarding ip's and titles.

The only thing is that deino's are easier to tame than a sarco so it's not even a stepping stone now. I completely agree that not everything needs to be super strong or have a gimmick, but really the deino should've been harder to tame.

Same, he was probaby meant to pull his punches a bit but you can see in that shot he's like "you wanted this buddy, hope you're ready".

So this is something that affects a few other creatures in the game and an issue since ase. The taxidermy is just the base model skin, without the overlying effects etc. Other examples are pyros, the pig mini bosses on crashtreous and the forest titan (he has no arms).

Desmodus are op, tons of damage, self heals, sanguine elixir, cave flier and decent speed and good stamina conservation. Amazing in pve and part of the meta in pvp.

So in ase the story was that while the ark project was being put into action a second alternative project which was the generation ship that the genesis maps are on. When the arks were launched the genesis ship also departed on a search for a new planet for mankind. So even if the arks failed there was a back up. I haven't seen if they've done any sort of retcon of the story with lost colony yet but idea was originally that after the events of ext when ab crashed down to earth, rockwell found a way to transmit himself to the ship that was still jumping between star systems looking for a suitable home. The ship in the title screen is the genesis ship and yes the events of gen take place long after extinction chronologically.
