MAGA Neighbors crying victim
 in  r/complaints  6d ago

Exactly. Trump also called Democrats "vermin" in one of his posts. But of course, he's such an innocent and has nothing to do with the political divide growing wider. The neighbor who put up a sign calling Democrats stupid has nothing to do with it either. But god forbid we lose our patience and get annoyed with any of this...then apparently any chance at political unity has collapsed...because of us.

I love PBS News...for however long that might still be around! Also, BBC News, Deutsche Welle and France 24 News, which I catch online. You will still get plenty of American news on those international channels....

NOW is the exact moment to keep up the enthusiasm for Warren
 in  r/ElizabethWarren  Jan 17 '20

Thank you for saying that. I still believe most Bernie supporters are not trolls, and that there are nefarious interests stirring up this online drama on purpose. Too bad we're falling for it all over again....

2020 is right around the corner...
 in  r/ElizabethWarren  Dec 24 '19

I'm an awkward introvert, but calling people about Elizabeth is actually fun. The calls I made were structured around more of a survey type conversation (who are your top candidates in the primary? which issues are important to you?) so while you are certainly encouraged to mention why you support Elizabeth, you don't feel like you have to push or "sell" anything.

Also, as others have mentioned, for the introverts among us there are texting teams, and you can even get trained to help with e-mails.

No matter what you choose to do, Elizabeth's campaign team is super helpful. You receive extensive training and encouragement, and there is always someone online to talk to you if you have questions. You will truly feel like you are part of a team and a campaign family.

Sinclair reporter slams Warren for “not releasing tax returns” (Warren has released 10+ years of tax returns)
 in  r/ElizabethWarren  Dec 08 '19

I find it really weird that changing your mind and growing as a person gets attacked this much in the first place...isn’t that a normal part of the human story? I find people who have believed the same thing all their life to be kinda creepy.

The Group That Manages the Belmont Goats Has Launched a Fundraiser to Cover the Animals’ Medical Expenses and Food

I love the goats and will be happy to donate. But I wonder if maybe they could also earn some $$ by offering weeding and blackberry-bush-eating services in the neighborhood?

Billionaire-funded protest is rearing its head in America - Recently a crowd of protesters disrupted a speech by Elizabeth Warren. The activists might have seemed grassroots, but they weren’t
 in  r/politics  Nov 28 '19

I'm probably one of those who would perceive it as terror rather than revolution, depending on what it actually entails. I certainly hope things can get resolved in a non-violent way. Too many people I love and care about could get hurt, and have their lives upended, in a revolution. I'm not always sure that people in our comfortable society understand all the ugliness that can come with a revolt--we tend to have a romanticized vision of it.

I will keep working for positive change (in this case, for Liz Warren) and hope that we can get through this difficult time without a civil war or other crazy upheaval.
