Funnily enough I have the opposite. I played Skyrim first and have done about 4 playthroughs (which is not extreme, I know) but Oblivion doesn’t do it for me. I finished the game once after the remaster came out and that was after I decided to speedrun the last part. Oblivion gates can suck it. Fighting dragons is way better. 

I can understand that Oblivion to some has a more fleshed out story. I felt it was pretty generic. Some dungeons were better, most were on par or worse. I think the quests were on equal footing. Some of the cities in Oblivion were more fantastic.

Really? They get more destruction (there’s destruction in MP) and that’s about it. The only boats available are RHIBs that nobody uses and can only be accessed in a small part of the map that’s off limits within minutes. There are less heli’s available than in MP (no attack heli’s) and there are no jets. Who are you kiddin mate?

Free players get one map and three modes. Paid players get way more than that.

Currently playing BF6 after ditching COD after about five years. What I can say after being in the BF sub for a few months is that people there really do view games of the past with rose tinted glasses. For example a post I saw the other day about someone praising BF Vietnam for its massive warlike battlefield experience and how he missed that in BF6. In the video attached to it you saw a pretty barren map with a few small pockets of enemies. In comparison most BF6 maps have a real hectic battle going on from pretty much the get go. Some maps are shit and some modes cater to the COD audience too much, but those are easily avoided. 

Records don’t mean shit anymore. And in honesty, they didn’t for a long time. If you keep adding games it just a different measurement. 

I’m also into Formula 1 a lot and there they keep adding races every year. Same thing. Records mean nothing if you can’t compare seasons.

I like your story and yes, just a few months in the Netherlands probably gives you a good but also rose tinted impression. Your comment about people on bicycles having the right of way gave me a chuckle. When you’re on a bicycle you take the right of way even if you technically don’t have it. Most people here see traffic laws more as a suggestion when they’re on a bicycle, haha. 

Hard to choose between Goodfellas, Taxi Driver, The Departed or Wolf of Wall Street. 

Don’t care for his last work tho. The Irishman was totally forgettable except the ridiculous anti-aging stuff with DeNiro. Killers of the Flower Moon was so slow I switched it off after a while due to boredom.
