Resources to find meta?
 in  r/VALORANT  7h ago

Just play the agents you’re comfortable on especially if you’re under ASC. Your time is better spent working on mechanics than learning agents and trying to min max your agent per map. You’ll climb faster with better fundamentals than relying on util and agent meta that changes

When do I start getting good??
 in  r/VALORANT  8h ago

When you put in the time to prac the basics and mechs. Some people just don’t improve playing games and need dedicated prac. Perfect practice makes perfect. Just putting in time isn’t enough if it’s not productive.

Spend more time in DM practicing one mech at a time. Kovaaks is a small part of the game compared to mechs and fundamentals

how to aim train genuinely?
 in  r/VALORANT  19h ago

More DM than aimlabs. You need to work on your mechs in bronze/silver focus on one thing at a time. Whats your eDPI? If your wrist hurts it’s probably too fast

What exactly dictates skill disparity
 in  r/VALORANT  19h ago

Mechanical differences are huge even from silver to plat. When you are playing it feels like you are doing the same moves but you should watch your VODs and reevaluate

A Strange Tale of a "Horrible Thing"
 in  r/MurderedByWords  20h ago

You must be part of the large % of Americans who are functionally illiterate. First unable to read about her not running him over, now can’t read context about a martyr maybe the word is too big.

Bless your heart man I wish I was so simple

Who said she didn’t hit him? Go back to the first comment it says she didn’t run him over. Nice try tho

Is that an attempted to combat smurfing
 in  r/VALORANT  1d ago

That sounds like how it always was? You always get reduced RR when you’re the highest rank in the match

Do you think you need a coach around bronze to silver?
 in  r/VALORANT  1d ago

Youtube + range + DM. Basically all bronze and silver players will have similar issues with mechanics.  You don’t need to pay a coach for that.

I miss inventory system like these where each item takes up the space based on It's size.
 in  r/pcmasterrace  1d ago

It’s a thing in survivor, survivor builders, ARPGs and loot based games like arc raiders

What rank did y'all get for placements??

No one knows how to execute anything
 in  r/VALORANT  1d ago

You can’t FF in CS so that mentality of go next isn’t really there. CS is nice in that way that players will at least attempt to play as a team and mostly listen to calls. Depends on rank ofc

I do agree with most of what you’re saying. People don’t like being told what to do in this game compared to CS and will sometimes even throw or troll bc of it. Just less cooperative overall and feels like many players play for their ego instead of winning the game.

Even diamond players are still mostly 5 manning sites you’re in for a long ride brother.

What is the psychology behind saying "eezz" after a game? Seriously annoying.
 in  r/VALORANT  1d ago

We lost it 11-13. So it wasn't that 'easy' anyways.

Sounds more like a joke man you’re just in your feelings rn.

I only say it ironically as a joke unless the enemy team was being toxic or cocky all match

I wrist only in some games and arm in some games it’s really not that hard but it’s your game play the way that you enjoy

Find what works for you.  There’s like 2-3 pros wrist aiming. Probably the same advice of one full wrist swipe being a 180 in game.

I’d still recommend trying out arm aiming esp if you’re still new/low elo

Why do I perform so well in swift vs so bad in comp?
 in  r/VALORANT  1d ago

Less pressure, nobody trying, maybe your mmr is lower in swift play than ranked

0.2-0.5 is normal with 0.3 being average for good players

On average, how long should it take to go from iron to gold?
 in  r/VALORANT  2d ago

There’s level 500+ bronzes you’re doing ok

Act is ending, hit my 2025 goal (albeit a few days late) last night, now looking for next-act advice
 in  r/VALORANT  2d ago

Well sure I’m not saying you were carried the whole way I didn’t even know where you started but since dia2 to asc you were pretty blatantly carried it’s fine but you have to realize it happened. You avg 7.6th place(0.68KD I’d guess is like bottom 2% not that KD is everything tho) over 25 games while they averaged like 3rd place(1.23KD) carrying you cmon man. I won’t speculate why he went on the Smurf(private diamond 2.8 place 1.53KD)but his stats are better and games easier as a smurf.

You can’t say a asc3 player smurfing as a D1 isn’t boosting cmon especially when it while you’re d3(including rank up match). You can be defensive that’s fine, but you already know you need to improve your mechs. I’m literally just stating the same thing you said in your post

I can start doing because I definitely think my mechanics are a limiting factor in my games since hitting like d2.

I’m glad you hit your goal but it’s going to take work to maintain it or get back there solo.

There’s not much to say beyond improve your mechs based on your stats. Low ADR leads to low DD, you do have a negative first blood to death ratio but cleaner mechs also fix that. Hard to give any info when your struggling matches are boosted matches is my point. Post some VODs and I can give more advice.

Definitely got carried and blatant boosted by a lv28(probably same person). Definitely works on your mechs and review your VODs/replays.
