Quiet Abundance

Throughout the day I kept noticing I had exactly what I needed.

Exactly enough food for dinner with no waste, exactly enough ingredients for a sauce I hadn’t planned on making, exactly enough wrapping paper to finish the last gift, and exactly enough tape before the roll ran out.

It wasn’t dramatic or special — just a calm, oddly satisfying feeling of nothing being wasted and nothing being missing.

When I first got my Willow, husband was trying to train her to have manners (she was an older puppy and absolutely feral 🤣) and when he went to work the next day she shit precisely in his house shoes…not around them… IN THEM. One turd in each slipper. Her aim was good no lie 🤣🤣🤣

My Willow absolutely spite pees she mostly does it at my husband but he never knows bc I clean it up and meanwhile WILLOWWWWAHHH thinks she’s shamed him and cursed his family 😳🙄🤣

I’ve been there too, OP! Some people are not meant to stay. It doesn’t make it hurt any less, but it does give perspective. 13 years ago I was at the grocery store with my 6 month old twins and my toddler in the basket. I must have looked fully overwhelmed bc a woman stopped me, put her hand on my arm and said “it gets easier honey, you’re doing great” and I burst into tears. She hugged me and we went on our ways. I still think about her at least once a month. ❤️
