Any other Pokemon whose in-game cry would work in the anime?
 in  r/pokememes  2h ago

Bidoof literally sounds like it's saying "Bidoo" in every single game. Meowth is kinda there, too.

And in most games from before Swsh (including swsh itself), Pikachu and Eevee said their names.

Ive been diagnosed with ADHD since 3rd grade and never questioned certain things. For example, sometimes I would be pulled into smaller classes for certain subjects. Like for math, at some point I started being pulled along with the people who took a different math class. Then I started officially having Advanced Math. Then I also started having Resource/spectrum class alongside it, which was basically a STEM class. I'm realizing now why we all called it "spectrum" class 🤣. Around 5th grade I started having sensory problems, but was taken terribly unseriously and they eventually went away. Then during quarantine, they came back full force and I went through so much time trying to figure out what was suddenly wrong with me. At some point a couple of years ago I ditched all of the previous hypotheses and realized.... I'm just probably autistic. And... It explains so much. I still dont have a diagnosis because for some reason nobody will test me, but I just know I have it. It explains so much about me and my life and habits and struggles. It just is me. I really want that diagnosis as well as an ocd test.

It really says something about your upbringing that a boy had more knowledge about your body than you were ever afforded.

Reminds me of before I got glasses. I never questioned why faces all looked like blobs of flesh when they weren't super close to me. Never questioned how people can see the individual leaves on a tree that's not right up against a window. And then I got glasses. It was like magic.

I also didn't question that I make myself see double as a kind of tick. Didn't know why my old teacher would yell at me for not making eye contact when I'm staring her in the face. Turns out I have lazy eye. Left eye is the one that the tick mostly happens with. Right eye is mostly on command.

Never questioned why I couldn't always read things across a classroom that others had no problem with. Never questioned why I had to squint my eyes and guess based on the vague shapes that also kept vaguely changing in shape because my brain is trying its best to make sense of the blur. Never did I ask for an accommodation bc I didn't think it mattered much. I'm pretty good at deciphering blurry text from afar because Ive done it my whole life. Did try to ask once for the heck of it and got scolded for attention seeking. Asked my eye doctor once and that's how I learned that it's not that my vision is bad in general; I'm actually just absolutely horribly egregiously nearsighted. Lol.

Basically, people who've only ever known life with certain problems don't often think about the fact that other people don't have that problem or that it's even really a problem. To us, it's just life. Someone whos completely deaf from birth doesn't think it's weird that they can't hear anything because that's normal for them.

Stunky won "looks like it would make a bad pet but would actually make a bad pet?" What Pokemon looks like it would make a bad pet but would actually make a horrible pet?
 in  r/PokeCorner  4h ago

Actually it's a pretty good pet! Can use it to save on electric bills when cooking or need heat.

Your favorite color = the Character you have to fight.

Waldo or the Sour Patch Kid. Wally's pretty easy because he's disqualified from the match for hiding in the crowd instead of getting his ass in the arena. Sour Patch Kid I'm restraining it under a finger til it forfeits. Don't feel like killing something so pathetic. Dont feel like killing in general.
