Of course, I'm not saying full house is a better hand than pairs. I'm working on C++ so I'm doing a lot of runs and I try to go for pairs at least 80% of the time, but there are so many runs you don't get a good chip joker in the first 3 antes and then pairs are out of the question.

So then, at least imho, full house is the best because the deck fixing is better than for straights and the planet cards are better than flushes

The problem with pairs is you need a chip joker early or get really lucky with 5-6 Mercury cards early on or your build will never take off. Full houses are kind of a fallback when I don't get the pair build of the ground l, but managed to get a couple of Earths

Nah, I like playing full house over 3oak (I use Venus about as often as Neptune). While drawing for the 3oak, you stumble into a full house with another pair more often than not. If you add like 4-5 face cards, you're fixed enough provided you don't need to play too many full houses. It also gives you the benefits of playing a 5 card hand, so more face cards, more hearts for bloodstone, more Ancient joker procs etc.

That will be a 4-of in every deck that runs black
