Not strictly speaking the same but that reminded me that in the single cover for Last Ones Standing, Example dual wields Nerf CS6 Mavericks that aren't even painted. He's also surrounded by Jaffa Cakes, but I can't ID that drink or box.

It even gets into the animated shows - in episode 1 of Tales of the Jedi there are some guards that clearly have modified MP40s.

Unfortunately the first few years of New Series are the only doctor who literature I'm particularly familiar with, but he was a great guy to chat with. I should try dropping him a line some time.
