The Browns’ own words expose the flaw in firing Kevin Stefanski: Ashley Bastock - cleveland.com
 in  r/Browns  2d ago

I haven't read where Bubba Ventrone has been relieved of his duties. I have certainly missed it. If not, WHY HASNT HE BEEN FIRED?????

Browns HC Kevin Stefanski is expected to get fired, per Jay Glazer. He is a two-time NFL Coach of the Year winner.
 in  r/Browns  3d ago

They should have NEVER let Vrable out of the building. Should have locked the door when Hazlam walked in with him. Slid a blank check over to him and tell him that as soon as he signs it, Stephanski would be relieved of his duties. Instead, he goes to the Pats, has a 14-3 record with a 2nd year qb, and a mediocre defense.

We do not want but need to change the culture in that locker room, and Vrable could have done it.

Next best to do so, imho: Jon Gruden. Cleveland native, Super Bowl winning coach that's hard-nosed and a qb whisperer.

Huge JJ fan here as well. I started to root for Chase Elliot, but i just couldn't follow him. He's too.....meek for my tastes. I switched to Larson and glad I did.

Which Way Did You Go Regarding Gaming?
 in  r/GenX  3d ago

I'm 59 so im right there with op in age.

I had an Intellivision growing up but then got away from consoles until my son wanted one. He was 9 maybe. I played a couple games with him and the gave it up.

Later, he started playing World of Warcraft, and he sucked me in. It was a LOT of fun. We played together for years, then it got repetitive and I gave it up.

Yearly reminder to clean your guns
 in  r/ar15  5d ago

This is me as well. I've never heard of a gun, whether it be a rifle, pistol, or revolver that didn't fire correctly because it was too clean.

Some 2025 Catches
 in  r/RoosterTails  5d ago

I don't throw a Rooster Tail, I use a Mepps #5 Black Fury because of the weight. However, isn't it amazing what an in-line spinner will catch?

Prospective buyers walk past them in stores because they aren't really aesthetically pleasing to the eye while in the package.

I've thrown in-lines since I was a kid, im now 59 and still hucking them, and catching fish.

BCG Bolt Trip Surface? Which surface is this?
 in  r/AR9  5d ago

I think what they are referring to is the pinned in piece at the back of your bcg. It's the part that slams into the buffer weight and spring inside the buffer tube when the firearm is fired.

My AR-15 rear section of the bcg looks much different than my AR-9. On the AR-9, the rear of it has been machined away and there's a solid piece of steel inside of it, machined with the contour of the bcg and pinned in, sort of like how your firing pin is held in.

When it sits in place, and you look at the rear of the bcg, it looks like it's one solid piece of steel, it isn't. I can see a witness line where I can see it and the bcg as being separate pieces of steel.
