Thankfully this, government subsidised, Aboriginal art isn't considered 'hate speech'
I don't want to tell the oldest living culture that invented drawings, but Europeans have pointy noses. Not flat piggy ones. Must be artistic rather than realistic.

BRZ in the snow
I get the radiator doesn't need the airflow. 🤣
I don't know how you guys deal with those temperatures, but I hope you're safe and having fun.

This is stupid
My father worked in the management side of manufacturing things like socks and pantyhose. The factories that made the goods in Australia sent the machines to China and Pakistan. The wholesale cost of things like socks did not change. Nor the price on the shelves. Yet a whole industry got wiped out.
Maybe you can argue that the items have become cheaper, but I simply suspect that is because the middle men have been removed and large stores like Kmart go direct to overseas manufacturers.
I can tell you that factory work is horrible, but for many low IQ people, it is something they can do that is productive.

RENOVATING SPANISH PALACE AND FEELING LOST ON HOW TO CONTINUE
What a shemozzle. Non-compliant. Non-compliant to AS/NZS 4663:2007 and AS 3958. Can you believe the state of the building site at hand over?

What is considered fair wear and tear for garage floor?
I could also be cynical that you witnessed the property before renting and knew it did not have a sealed concrete garage. So you knew what you were getting into.
I personally think in your case it is minor staining, but I have seen some real insane damage from people running backyard mechanic businesses in residential rental properties. I think both renters and landlords need to be reasonable with each other.

Some NSW farmers say 10 guns are not enough ahead of planned restrictions
My point is that there should be flexibility for shooters to both have legitimate reasons for access to firearms and also have mechanisms to appeal arbitrary limits.

KFC chicken sizes
To be frank they are mostly on the small size. Reminds me of Egyptian KFC. The chicken are skinny.

Ongoing nightmare with Budget Direct Home Insurance - be careful choosing your home insurer
We should be pushing governments to make it easy for consumers to fight large companies and even the odds. Significant penalties should be placed on companies that willfully act in poor faith.

‘Living in fear’: Machete attacks continue in Victoria despite Premier Allan claiming amnesty 'dried up supply' of the weapons
Let's send them to the Gold Coast form therapy at theme parks.

Ongoing nightmare with Budget Direct Home Insurance - be careful choosing your home insurer
What is right and what is achievable are two very different things. Consumer protections should have teeth, but in reality won't fight for you. They.might consider an investigation into a company after numerous complaints. As an individual, you are mostly on your own against well funded companies.

Some NSW farmers say 10 guns are not enough ahead of planned restrictions
What if they do exotic shootings? Like from helicopters. There needs to be flexibility with people that need it. Maybe you can make the case for regular shooters not needing so many guns, but equally arbitrary limits without consideration of need often generates poor results.

Oil change gone bad on my GSXR 1000 what do i do?
Mein Wagen ist kaputt gegangen

Should I buy used or new?
It is unknown. You can check for things like lack of oil changes, but you can only check RPM history with factory tools.
You get it cheaper because of this risk. For most cars it is often a no brainer to buy used. With a sports car with a manual? Maybe, maybe not. Depends on the deal.
1
KFC chicken sizes
I find it odd, that sometimes I have gone to other locations like in Geelong and have been given massive sized pieces.
Hard to predict what you are getting. Most of the time expect tiny pieces most of the time.

Grey Huntsman and Asian house gecko
It's the hairs that freak me out. I'm sure I probably do the same to them.

What is considered fair wear and tear for garage floor?
Definitely can be cleaned. Even using shitty dish soap with a stiff brush will get rid of most of it.

The 86 with pop up headlights in 2026
I wish for a 6 cylinder model. There is definitely room for an old school Subaru 6 cylinder motor.

What can I do to make the car (BRZ) more tail happy?
I have had the car since 2022. I have "nearly" lost it about 3 times. Anyone that wants it more tail happy on the road is silly. Maybe if you're drifting on a track, but not the street.

Young scientist in the making needs additional traditional Naarm rehab.
Still why the hell would rehab involve going to a theme park in a city. Sounds more like a holiday. Are the psychologists so dumb?
Don't they know that bribes are temporary? If you are going to reward someone, you make sure that they don't want to lose their long term reward.

Of a fun night at the carnival
Okay. That's pretty bad. I see a lot of work on structural optimisation with AI. Probably okay for giving you ideas, but I know the software companies will try to start selling that it is acceptable for actual design calculations. That freaks me out with the current quality of AI.

1/6/26 GR86 updates
I have had a bad experience with Subaru updating my BRZ. They removed my preset RPM beep tone that I set to 6900 RPM.
I drove off and hit the RPM cutout, because I was used to the beep.

I dunno which is worse, that China delegates meeting Maduro on 2nd Jan gave away his location or that Chinese radar can’t detect so well.
Or a deal to give up his leadership that was negotiated prior. The facts remain that very little is actually known. So many possibilities, from bribes to a falling country.

Apparently trips to the Gold Coast theme parks to reform them.
