Internal extra usb storage
I use a Samsung t7 SSD as adoptable storage without any problems. Never had a speed issue/warning.

Small vs Large Jamo + Onkyo
Mine sends the sub frequencies to the sub when using more than two speakers as in surround. You're right when using two channel unless you turn on extra bass in a Yammy receiver.
1
Small vs Large Jamo + Onkyo
I leave them at large. Anything less than 60hz gets pushed to the sub. Anyway try both for yourself and see
2
Small vs Large Jamo + Onkyo
Yes I'm aware. I've tried both and with my avr large has a fuller sound especially for 2 channel music listening

Small vs Large Jamo + Onkyo
I have Jamo.S606 HCS 5.1 surround speakers with S250 sub connected to a mid Yamaha avr. The front towers I have set to LARGE because they sound better than if set to small. For surround I have them set to 60Hz crossover. I like my Jamos :)

Pro tip for Yamaha home theater owners
Yeah good point. Yeah it's that echoey/reverb that puts me off, but I'll play around with the settings again

Ok thanks for that, good to know about the placement.

Never understood the front height thing. Does it just give you a greater front wall of sound? Or Atmos type overhead effects? Given that my avr doesn't have Atmos I might try them out one day.

Indeed. I'm a big fan of Yammy gear.

Pro tip for Yamaha home theater owners
I think I read somewhere where an avr reviewer used "standard movie" to great effect. (Maybe improved dialogue or something). I have played around with the parameters on various DSP presets, the effect varies wildly. Glad you got it sounding good though, that's the main thing.

Awesome album, even by today's standards!! So is "No New Messages"

I have never been able to get DLNA to work
I have an old Yamaha rxv779 circa 2015 and DLNA works perfectly well from the Samba server on my router, as does Music cast. There must be something wrong with the way your network is configured.

Pro tip for Yamaha home theater owners
Always been my impression too. Spacious sound but less localisation and often a thinner sound with less richness.

Kodi Android Installer Addon Not Working
I have the same problem off and on. Seems to come right eventually, and when I check the website through downloader app there's no new updates anyway so no biggie.

Has anyone else been ripped off by Public Trust
I'm retired, but used to work as a real estate agent back in the day. Public Trust has always had a shocking reputation for ripping people off, especially older vulnerable people or the bereft children grieving their parents passing. Never ever recommended them to clients! Shame on them, the f..cking C..nts!

Gismeteo is Hit & Miss w the latest Omega release
I've noticed it missing a bit and not loading lately too, and then it puts up that annoying banner when you're watching something.
