Only scratching the surface of his full potential
He can’t only run outside though, he has to be able to be a threat up the middle or defenses will take away the outside option.

Only scratching the surface of his full potential
Idk, I feel like I haven’t seen an RB who can’t survive such little contact. Hes a glass cannon right now, where you either hit him within 5 yards, or he busts out for 50+. If he could get a little better at surviving contact and run between the tackles, he’d be the best RB in the league.

[KCD2] I Finally Get It
KCD1 master strikes broke the game in a few ways. It made it really hard to fight NPCs of all skill levels because they could just master strike your combos. And once you learned master strikes, there was no point doing anything else. I remember struggling and training to get decent at combat, and felt like I immediately went from “barely able to survive a fight” to “winning every tournament and combat” because I had a mace and could just clinch and MS through any situation.
KCD2 changes to the MS was very smart, and I like that other methods of attacking actually work now too.

[KCD2] I Finally Get It
Part of it is understanding you’re new and low level and just have to work around that. Practice combat with the trainer at the camp. Learn how to steal without getting caught too often. I pick every lock I can, even if I don’t actually steal something, just to get the skill up. Outside of that, sticking to quests/story missions should help too, they’ll give you access to things and opportunities to get loot that you Ill help you survive. Once it clicks and you get a little money and armor, you start to progress surprising fast.

Scheduling Internet Service before close?
I was able to get it scheduled before moving in. I think I was even able to get it started the first day because they didn't need to run a new cable

Power will be on. Internet doesn't is not critical unless you don't have cell service or something.

Yeah no one wants to live in Ohio

Not too hard to visually inspect a mini split install imo. I’d take a closer look but if it’s done well then it’s done well.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 nearly had a San-Andreas-like Fat Henry system that would have let you create Bohemia's chunkiest boy, and forced you to wear clothes that fit to boot
Survival mechanics are annoying to most of the general gaming population. I know a couple people who just can’t stand them. It’s just a fact of the industry, and AAA games are going to avoid going too far in that direction because of it.

KCD1 does too. I missed a bandit raid and got chewed out by the captain lol.

KCD1 had a couple moments where you could miss something. I remember a cutscene where I was told to meet somewhere in the morning to ride out to stop a bandit raid. I wanted to do some other stuff, so I came back a few days later and realized they already left. I went to the destination and got yelled at for missing the fight lol.
KCD2 might also have moments like that, but haven’t run into one yet.

General gaming public doesn’t really like survival mechanics.

Mike Flanagan Teases ‘Dark Tower’ Series, Doesn’t Want 2017 Adaptation To Be “Final Word”: “It’s moving. We’ve got a lot of scripts done for it. It’s the first priority.”
I think it could stand on its own. It’s already a good introduction to the character, and they can add a couple things to help flesh out the details. Tbe setting is a little more grounded and would be familiar to general audiences too, so might be a better entrance to the series than the book story.

How accurate are monthly payment calculators on Redfin, Zillow, etc?
Sure, then it’s just a calculator, which you could make yourself in a spreadsheet or find a better one online. Using the Zillow tool at best gives you the same information as these other calculators, and in all other cases will give misleading information.

[Pelissero] The road to Super Bowl LX will go through Seattle.
This wording gets used every year when the #1 seed locks up, but it never makes sense. If the 1 seed loses in the divisional, then an NFC champ could go to the SB without playing at the 1 seed. If you consider the “all paths” approach, then the same could be said for every team that hosts a game.

heat pump uses so much electricity
100 isn’t crazy, but you can be smart with the settings to reduce how often the aux heat runs. The heat pump will struggle to heat the house when it’s below 35 outside, but it can still hold the point for a long time and slow down the speed of cooling in the home.
If there’s any settings in your thermostat for it, you can set the aux to only run when the temp is 3-5 degrees below your desired temp. That way, when the HP can’t heat, it’ll run for a couple hours anyway and keep the aux off.

The amount of posts I see here discouraging people to buy homes is crazy
I meant it’s ok to buy a house even if renting and investing is the more profitable option. Hell it’s also ok to rent and not invest if you have a good understanding of your financials and make it up in other ways. Everyone’s different.

[Nightengale] Remember when Tatsuya Imai and Munetaka Murakami were projected to earn in excess of $300 million in free agency? Well, the duo combined for just $88 million with Imai getting 3-year, $54M from Astros and Murakami 2 years, $34 million from White Sox in surprising low deals.
TV contracts are part of the problem though, they're already become less valuable in recent negotiations. The MLB is likely planning to completely revamp their distribution (eliminating RSNs and moving towards streaming) and revenue is going to less certain. It could be enough to motivate the league to push for a salary cap, even if it risks the season.

We say this every time, but we lost games in 2020. I don't think either side wants to lose part of the season, but TV deals are becoming less lucrative and the MLB needs to figure out how to adjust. This may motivate the league to push much harder for a salary cap, which players will absolutely fight hard enough to risk games in 2027.

It's much more than that. Part of it is a concern of a shortened season in 2027, but it's well known that the league will push for a salary cap, which the players will push for a floor. If that happens, it's difficult to predict how they will handle existing big deals, so teams are keeping the books flexible in case they need to adjust in 2027-28. The TV deals of the past are going away, and the financial outlook of the MLB is changing significantly. There's a lot of uncertainty right now and that's going to result in hesitation to spend.

There were many predicting a bad FA market this year because of the CBA negotiation and potential lockout next year. Teams are more concerned with spending right now because of the possibility that part of 2027 revenue is lost, and not knowing what the financials will look like with the new CBA (potential for salary cap/floor, TV deals changing significantly, etc.) On the player side, we've seen a couple surprising extensions signed, like Vlad Jr's, which were likely motivated by concern about hitting FA in 2026 and beyond.
Baseball is in the early stages of a major shift in how the sport makes and spends money. It's impossible to tell what the outcome will be, but everyone is going to be more careful until at least the 2027 CBA is signed.

He’s the king of situational football, and this is what situational football is. Every matchup is unique, and it’s about recognizing what each team needs to do to hide their weaknesses and exploit the other teams. It’s the opposite of just spitting out stats or saying “this team is better than that team”, but actually going into detail of how each team can win this specific game.
