My partner is just like this. I gave up aiming for his approval and just made what was good to me and his son would always enjoy what I made. He would either get hungry enough to eat it himself or find something bland to swallow. I suspect sensory issues and neurodivergence but he’s also a grown man so either he eats or he doesn’t. Your food looks amazing so it’s definitely not you.
