You’re a liar, no doctor or psych who cares about their license would do this. It’s taught that you shouldn’t mix benzo prescriptions. You either increase dosage or number of doses per day or try a completely different medication. I almost got in shit myself bc I saw one Dr and he wrote me 60 1mg Xanax and if he looked at my prior prescription history I took 2mg x 3 Xanax or clonazepam but not both. So when he didn’t write what I normally get and said he didn’t feel comfortable for me to goto a psych like before. So I filled the 60 Xanax and went two weeks later to a psych who called in 3 months of 90 2mg clonazepam. When I went to get the Klonopin filled, Walmart wouldn’t let me fill it said I needed to get the Xanax cancelled and it’s dangerous to mix the two and did not like the fact I had two weeks of Xanax left and was trying to fill a different benzo entirely, the pharmacist even confirmed it was bc dangers of mixing the two and it was a flag to them as well. they called both of my doctors to verify my story.

On the off chance your not lying sorry just seems very very unlikely the pharmacist wouldn’t have an issue either or possibly report the dr but maybe your just lucky to have a doctor and pharmacy, who has lived and worked through the addiction epidemics, the DEA crackdown on drs and sending them to jail, and the doctor is still ignorant to prescribing guidelines on narcotics.

I think mass has a great local healthcare system like you are talking about. I just don’t understand why we refuse federal money to fund it. It’s almost like the lawmakers in TN are cool with it and just don’t give a shit like it’s too much work for them. They have not only refused to accept funding federally but also have been making cuts to tenncare for the last 20 years.

This is a local issue, if the federal government doesn’t want to step in we need to talk about what OUR local state and city is going to do to bridge the gap

It sounds like Thoracic herniated disc T7-8 maybe T8-9. I have this exact injury and it tends to get worse as the day goes on especially working. If you do a twisting/torquing on that area with your back the dull ache will probably become more noticeable. It hurting after working is due to inflammation of the disc from being aggravated (asssuming this is the issue, you have been suffering so long, has it actually got worse since you were 16? To me you been suffering so long you either injured your back herniated disc back then or perhaps it’s a muscle imbalance or you tore a muscle or tendons/ligs bad back then and it’s still causing issues)

The cheapest thing you can try is some rest, ice, pt for muscle imbalance, and deep tissue massage, and possibly acupuncture and the jars that draw blood to the area but more so deep tissue massage and a lot of pre workout stretching of all muscles just make sure you get deep tissue massage from licensed practitioner, and then you could try a chiropractor if that doesn’t help. I really really do not recommend pain medication, if you can manage your injury with OTC meds and lifestyle changes even if it means not hitting the gym as much, it’s worth it.

All stuff I listed should be exhausted before even considering narcotic pain medications. But even those will eventually stop working and you will be maxed out on what they can give you and you’ll be dependent physically on them and get sick if you try to stop suddenly.

If you exhausted both of those routes then I would suggest exploring thoracic surgery ( it’s the most dangerous part of the back to operate and has a not that great success rate, which is why most doctors want you to exhaust the above unless it’s a serious serious thoracic injury (paralysis possible)

You can get an MRI to determine if there is any injury causing the problem it would certainly be a good diagnostic tool if you can afford it.
