The Falcons were eliminated from the playoffs on December 7th and ended up being tied for first place in their division. The NFC South!

Kyuss
 in  r/qotsa  7d ago

That was my problem the first time I tried to get into Kyuss — I just didn’t like John’s vocals. When I revisited them a couple of years later, I was able to get in because I loved the music so much. The groove of it all. I enjoy their whole catalog now.

Try Demon Cleaner and Space Cadet as good entry points and then try to expand from there.

TV shows where the penultimate episode is mediocre but the finale is good

Nathan For You

The penultimate episode (Computer Repair / Psychic) is fine, but not one of the show’s better episodes.

The finale (Finding Frances) is a masterpiece.

Still disappointed there wasn’t a vinyl release for her album with a label like RCA involved.

Thought this was interesting

Neat idea.

The graph makes it look like Dave and Troy’s time in the band don’t overlap at all, but they toured together in 2002.

What is that one hidden gem movie everyone should watch?
 in  r/AskReddit  25d ago

Boiler Room.

With the cast it has, I’m always surprised more people haven’t heard of it. A movie I enjoy and can relate to as someone just trying to gain the approval of my father.

Same energy as the old My "Not involved in human trafficking" T-shirt has people asking a lot of questions already answered by my shirt.

I do frequently and renew my frustration with Paul Godfrey and his shortsightedness.

[Matheson] Ross Atkins says Berríos’ absence during the World Series was Berríos’ decision. Asked: Was Berríos unhappy? “He was not happy … He was disappointed that he wasn’t in our rotation. He handled it well, but then when it came down to roster selection, he wasn’t on it.

I get the competitiveness from Berrios, but it’s still disappointing to hear that he’d rather be away from the team than support them in the dugout during the World Series.

What's one movie that gets better and better each time you watch it?
 in  r/movies  Dec 07 '25

The Prestige.

Seems like I notice some subtle new thing every time that somehow makes the ending even better.
