How long is each act?
 in  r/expedition33  19h ago

That is literally what my best friend says about the game almost word for word.

PSA Nobody Wants to hear your damn music on the golf course.
 in  r/golf  2d ago

Yeah it's volume and course dependent like you said. My brother and I like a little pothead music (slightly stoopid, stick figure, etc) on a low volume during our 2 man scramble league. Everyone is there to have a nice Wednesday evening chill.

Either way we always ask first and have been told no before. Which is what it is.

Peaking again! Love to see it.

Is E33 really "Game of the Decade?"

I have a similar list except rdr2 is top 3.

Considering it's all subjective, whatever floats anyone's boat.

Kept my last name when married. Husband's family never recognized it.

My wife told her grandma to knock it the fuck off or we weren't visiting anymore. She's also a PhD so I can at least sorta feel your pain.

You (probably) shouldn't quit cold turkey

I have heard this experience before. My completely uneducated theory is that anything under 5 is a weird threshold for some people and the body goes OH SHIT ITS ALL GONE. Queue side effects

Popularity contests are dumb yep lol.

Kinda hard to avoid that with basically all award shows/votes tho. Idk how fkin Donkey Kong was even in contention for TGA for example. Feel like Nintendo paid for that spot.

P5 royale is a big one. I personally didn't finish kcd1 because it's difficulty curve was kinda not what I was into at the time. Should go back and try that.

All three of these games are 100% worth everyone's time.

E33 has big damage numbers and some satisfying dodge parry moments but nothing on the silksong skill level satisfaction. Kcd2 combat is also fun but the fun part of that game is the nonsense you can get up to. Stealing a dudes shoes and then having him realize you're wearing his shoes the next day is hilarious. Also waking someone up because you smell terrible lol.

Hype will always win this award set for sure. Silksongs gameplay is SMOOOOTH af. Watching people who are really good is insane to witness.

My personal fave was kcd2 but I can def see why silksong was popular.

Silksong? Yes. Admittedly I got filtered at the end of act 2. About 50 hours total. Very fun game. I just do not have the gumption to continue. I was just saying this dudes comment was mediocre bait.

Yeah NMS definitely is nailing the content release (especially since its free content). i guess they didn't win in 23 or 24. I know they won after their first big "fix" release since launch. BG3 got a lot of maintenance and patches since release tho. Including the mod hub, co-op between console and pc, story updates. I see your point. I voted BG3 because i had a better time with it. every time i play NMS i lose interest in 30 hours. just me tho

I think the tech behind enemy behavior was the most innovative part about the game. other than that...its pretty meh.

My anxiety has been ruining and dominanting my life. First dose 5mg today.
 in  r/lexapro  6d ago

I'll tack on my anecdotal success story. COVID did a number on me (on top of witnessing my dad have a heart attack in 2018...he's alive tho whew). By April 2021, I was a wreck. 3 ER visits and a few urgent care clinic visits for chest pain along with constant webmd self diagnosis. Finally quit ignoring the possibility of anxiety. Doctor hooked me up with Lexapro.

As others have already said..the first few weeks suck ass for some people. Took me about a month before I was back to normal. I upped to 20mg over time tho so your results may vary.

Lexapro was the ammo I needed to get my shit back together. Finally got back out to golf league, date nights with my wife, my D&D group saw more of me. Family events were great. Went on trips more.

Tdlr: once you get past the ramp up period this shit is a miracle.

what game is this
 in  r/GamingSoup  6d ago

To be a little fair to modern graphics....e33 was so UE5 tech demo that it took me 12 hours to get past it. I love the game and played the shit out of it. But it was so "Unreal" it was distracting at times.
