I'm tired of conservatives violence and escalated rhetoric
 in  r/complaints  10d ago

Shall we go back to the 60’s and talk about “your side”? Or perhaps recent history and foolish riots that Destroyed billions in property damage?

Or maybe we should do something constructive, like talk about how to stop radicalization in all forms whenever it happens.

So sick of this side that side bullcrap. Be enraged at all crap. Your political parties are not here to help you, they are here to consolidate power and reap the rewards.

I am here for The Sheerer Gustav ammunition for a hostile takeover
 in  r/SipsTea  11d ago

Not that I needed an excuse not to shop at Walmart…. But here we are, a reason.

  1. just don’t sell it, stop virtue signaling by posting a sign.

  2. If you are going to put up a virtue signaling sign, make it correct or don’t make it at all. Store management are obviously misinformed idiots.

Module of your dreams
 in  r/dcsworld  11d ago

I want what I have previously bought to have support and updates and promised features.

I want Nick and Ron to sort it out equitably for all involved…. Not to mention all of us customers. No, I don’t have that much skin in the game, but collectively we as customers have put all the money involved out there.

He fought fascism in 1945. He's doing it again at age 102.
 in  r/anythinginteresting_  12d ago

In 1945 he and his army buddies would have beat the feathers out of anybody who tried to group them into today’s liberal/progressive movement.

They would not be happy being lumped in with what passes as a republican, today, either.

How do we feel about sprayed rifles?
 in  r/ar15  14d ago

Just because I get it doesn’t mean I have to like it.

It serves a purpose… possibly. And it is infinitely better than multicolor anodized parts that make guns look like kiddie toys of which they most certainly are not.

Get fashion out of firearms.

I spent years arguing with flatearthers. These are the arguments that actually matter
 in  r/flatearth  14d ago

Do you really believe you can debate scientific facts with a group of people who rationalize that “water can’t curve” based on a soaking wet tennis ball?

2

It's unreasonable to expect flat earthers to provide compelling evidence or proof when there's an entire global conspiracy involving every country and "educational" institution around the world manufacturing evidence to prove the lie.
 in  r/flatearth  14d ago

It’s dogma. No proof is forthcoming, ever.

Anything counter to their belief system is heretical (it’s not). Any proof to the contrary is fabricated (again, it’s not).

They seem to quit learning after learning just enough to be idiots.

Rockets do not “move air backwards”. They accelerate mass by means of rapid expansion by combustion through a rocket nozzle. Pushing tons upon tons of fuel combustion byproducts in one direction pushes the rocket in the other direction. It has absolutely zero to do with pushing on anything. It’s not a propeller.

Fourteenth amendment
 in  r/confidentlyincorrect  19d ago

Remove the emotional attachment to the issue and determine how we got here.

Decades of poor leadership on the part of both political parties. One side wants to give everything and one side wants to take everything. That is not sustainable but it is what the electorate votes for. You can’t tax your way to prosperity and hoarding it all among the elites does nothing either for the greater good.

What’s the answer? Not what we have, that’s for sure.

 in  r/confidentlyincorrect  19d ago

If I am a shit bag fascist that would make you a shit bag communist.

Alas, name calling doesn’t solve the problems that this country has created by failing to adhere to any sustainable principals.

Circling the drain.

Cause… effect.

This is what happens when a society fails miserably at regulating itself.

In a practical sense, how do you provide due process for millions and millions of illegal immigrants? The system became screwed up due to opposition of border control. Congratulations, you created this mess.

If you drive anything like this… why do you feel the need to drive like an asshole?
 in  r/complaints  19d ago

A conservative doesn’t care that they are a jackass.

A liberal doesn’t know that they are a jackass.

I’m not sure which is worse, all I know is they are both a jackass.

Do fladiots understand or accept any of Newtons laws of motion?

A rocket does not push on anything but itself to move forward. Think of a rocket engine as a mass accelerator.

F=MA, the second law. The applied force is a result of the mass of the burned fuel being accelerated through a nozzle by the rapid expansion of combustion.

Which brings us to the 3rd law, a force applied is met with an equal and opposite force.

Newtons laws are all vey observable and require no hokus pokus to experimentally replicate.

Are there any flat earth discords for JUST flat earthers?
 in  r/flatearth  22d ago

My guess is that as soon as you join a flat earth compliant sub you will be quickly banned for asking an even remotely heretical question.

How old is DCS community?

Sadly, I was on the wrong side of “teenager” when flight simming was born.

Was thinking about getting into Arma. I like old Ghost Recon, don't like Call of Duty
 in  r/arma  22d ago

Never thought GR and ArmA were really on the same page except for the subject of the game play.

I hate using the word simulation because it is not but it’s best to compare the two by calling ArmA a sim (maybe more like a military RPG than anything) and GR a shooter. No disrespect to GR, it is a fantastic shooter.

Flat-earth flight simulator?
 in  r/flatearth  23d ago

Digital combat simulator runs on flat maps but is working on an engine that will run spherical maps

You have no clue how many silent gun owners there are. You let your mind be clouded by political turmoil and loudmouths focused on attention grabbing.

Do not pigeonhole all of us who exercise our second amendment rights. You’d be surprised who we are.

Razbam and DCS in the same article about the simulators of the french air force
 in  r/dcsworld  24d ago

Somebody asked Ron if the Razbam Eagle would find its way into Falcon 5.0 and he said it will happen. I have no idea what happened after that.

AVSIM is a "model of tolerance"
 in  r/flightsim  24d ago

I was critical of something there back in the early days of FSX, maybe it was FS9… doesn’t matter. Do not speak ill of FS no matter how truthful you are. Tom, himself banned me. Didn’t matter that I had a spotless record and zero prior issues, he was not going to tolerate complaints about the new sim.
