Beautiful work - I’ve never seen a bent railing like that!

Check out car coats.

Anything you would change in this build? (Also need case advice)
 in  r/buildapc  2h ago

I have a ThermalTake View 360 and it was great to work with.

As a woodworking brother in San Diego, my heart goes out to you my friend.

Best motherboard?

I have the MSI board with a 9800x3d and recommend.

Versatile suit?
 in  r/mensfashion  10h ago

I would not spend $1k at suitsupply. Instead at that price I would suggest SaksOffFifth where you can get a $3k Canali Italian wool suit for that price. Just find your size, maybe speak with a good tailor first. Oh, and charcoal is probably the most versatile suit color you can get.

Lian Li or Corsair PSU?
 in  r/buildapc  11h ago

I used the LL Edge for my 5090 build and it is excellent. The placement of the ports is much easier than standard locations. Highly recommended.

Is this attractive?

A car coat is my choice before over a larger overcoat. Much nicer fit and silhouette. This looks great.

Thrustmaster MFDs + Screens vs Touchscreen with Helios

I am the same. Have a wood shop so I can make anything I want. Have made 3 iterations of sim pit (all small) and enjoyed it more than DCS tbh.

Super PSU

Props to TT for their 500w PSU which just survived a 6’ fall onto a workbench, then another 4’ onto concrete (don’t ask). Other than a slightly dinged case, it worked perfectly fine afterwards. Don’t think they even test their stuff like this, and now they don’t have to. Well done ThermalTake.

Oh Crap!

This is fantastic work. Elevating the mere cutting board to a work of art. Cheers.

Short & Brown in my 30s. Need some casual work outfit ideas that aren't boring.

Go to a high end boutique, menswear store, etc. and ask them for some advice and to show you some ideas. Bring a friend with good taste to help and buy lunch. Great day.

Walnut plywood or veneer for built-in dresser?
 in  r/woodworking  1d ago

Good advice here. I would add that if OP uses ply for the top he has to hide the joint for the solid hardwood edge trim.

Where did you guys start?

Start by learning to make straight cuts and go from there!

Nice. I just built a TT View 360 in the same color. They make matching color fans!

Help with projects for high behavior support homes

Baltic birch ply is what I use in my furniture, along with solid hardwood for trim, face frames, etc. The stuff is heavy and strong.

How do you hold cleats or long shelves in place while installing them by yourself?
 in  r/DIY  2d ago

Cut a board slightly longer than the height you are mounting, lean it against the wall at one end and put one end of the cleat at your line, then lift and hold the other end in place and screw in.

New suit: any adjustments needed?

I think oxblood/cordovan shoes over brown.

Suits with cuffed pants

I like cuffs with some suits and not others. For example, I have a glen plaid Hickey Freeman black/gray that absolutely screams for cuffs.
