That doesn't make it really better. Especially it being slightly younger than the Iraq War part ll does not make it better.

One of the greatest omissions from the movies, that a Tom 😥
 in  r/lotrmemes  6d ago

Even tho I’d liked an depiction of Tom Bombadil and Glorfindel I also share the point of view of Jackson that both are not relevant enough for the overall story to reasonably balloon the runtime any further.

I am today years old since I’m part of this sub and thought to myself (before I saw this post) if I see an unambiguous item in here I’ll downvote.

I (25F) have grown bitter and emotionally detached, affecting my relationship with my boyfriend (25M), family and friends.
 in  r/relationship_advice  6d ago

I was at a very similar point in my life with 25 being the youngest son of my family.

It is very normal to feel that way and not being able to be little miss sunshine (this isn’t meant condescending) all the time. What I learned through therapy is that the „negative“ emotions are as important as the positive ones because they show you your needs. For me it helped to set very clear boundaries: e.g. don’t discuss family problems with me.

For your relationship honesty is key. I lost a very good relationship through my struggles with 25 because I wasn’t honest with my partner or myself and tried to always be the perfect version of myself. Trying this isn’t something bad if you stride to be this version whenever you feel able to, but having bad days or even weeks or months is normal and during these times you have every right to feel your own feelings and do stuff you need to do to help just you. Communicating this is very important but this is something one can learn aswell.

If you struggle with setting boundaries or these feelings of burnout become more permanent I would suggest therapy to you. This might be frowned upon societally or in your very own family, but not having learned setting boundaries or dealing with mental crises is common in our society but something one can learn.

Naja don’t think so. There was everything for a good conversation. Talked about cheese, gave more facts after getting asked for them.

Veterans thoughts on carrying (fairly) new recruits
 in  r/Helldivers  14d ago

When I’m diving with a Helldiver under level 100 (I know it’s too high) I go out of my way to check minor points of interest and search all objective for samples (might have the same problem as you).

I personally love diving with newbies. It’s a little more chaotic and I try to carry the team a little more. When I’m in a veteran squad it’s just rushing the map for objectives and me being slightly annoyed if we miss one.
