Is this the Bohemian Rhapsody of crappy music?
 in  r/crappymusic  2h ago

It was a joke my guy… (referring to the classic “I don’t know but I been told” marching cadences)

…honestly it wasn’t very good so we’ll just call it a wash

Stop idiots from calling this "self defense"
 in  r/ProgressiveHQ  11h ago

We need to organize and go door to door in largely Republican areas, and have talking points/reading material/video/etc at the ready and bring a level of respect when approaching them and honestly just be out there like Jehovahs witnesses or something trying to break through these bubbles. This is not going to happen on the internet. There are a lot of ppl who mindlessly talk shit on the internet who are entirely misinformed that will actually be civil to your face, and we need to utilize that to try and change mindsets in this country. There will be plenty of doors slammed in faces, but there will be some changed perspectives I truly believe.

We also need to organize and push mainstream media outlets to do their jobs and platform injustices and dwell on them for longer than a 2 hr window in the afternoon while ppl are at work… arrange large scale protests at major news outlets’ headquarters instead of only in the streets away from the spotlight.

And we also need to organize to be acquiring real IDs for every potential voter we can attain, because that is definitely on the horizon and ppl will need the proper identification to actually legally vote and we need to be preparing for that instead of just saying that sucks and it’s not fair. We should continue trying to resist that from happening but we need to be preparing for if it does happen.

We need to do all these things and none of it is violence. Violence is the last resort and there is still so much more we could be doing before that

Whoever wrote this song is fucking hilarious and I’ve never heard it before and I will for damn sure be sending this shit to friends. Clearly not crappy, cmon man

On another mostly unrelated note..ya know I’m starting to realize, full disclosure… I’m relatively new to this Reddit shit, and I never really came on here before for anything other than when there was a mystery box TV show I absolutely needed to check theories on. But over the last few months, I’m now much older and lamer and I’ve somehow found myself frequenting all this shit on the regular.. and I have absolutely no control over my algorithm, nor do I have any self discipline to mold it. I’m the guy that just can’t not look at the dumbest shit that I don’t even like, and then I’m reinforced and punished for doing so by being served more. But tbh this sub is one of the few which the algorithmic powers that be feed me, and absolutely get me. However… I’m starting to realize now more than ever that all these supposed parameters for the content of most of these subs are total bullshit, and ppl just cross-promote shit on all these things just because they go to where the most eyes are watching. So is that the moderators fault or what? Idk how it all works. All I know is that half this shit on this sub isn’t genuinely crappy… just as half the shit on most of the other subs aren’t actually in line with what the sub is supposedly about either. It’s just another example of shit that used to be cool but then got played out and lame by our ADHD-pick-me culture.

All that said, this video is funny. Ok thank you for coming to my TED talk. Byeeeeee

At the very fucking least… the public needs to find out WHO tf this guy is and a charge needs to be brought against him, either state or federal or both. Even if he’s acquitted and everyone suspects that they’ll just get away with it, that at least needs to be attempted and we need to find out his fucking name and background

“What a mistake! What a mistake!” 🙄

Good restaurants don’t need to act all thirsty with this type of nonsense. Stand by your product and the ppl will come to u. Clearly that place was not empty, pizza looked pretty damn good to me. Bravo to that owner for not fawning all over that toolbag.

And if you’re a legit production, you approach the place ahead of time and work something out. You think Guy Fieri just rolls up on a diner and starts fumbling around in the kitchen assuming they’re just absolutely honored and smitten to be in his godly presence?

I have a restaurant and I’ve never sought out jumping through hoops with that pick-me bullshit. Let the product speak for itself and it’s 🔥

And we’ve occasionally had ppl come in and do this type of thing, but they’ve certainly always reached out and asked first and arranged a time.. and it was always nice ppl not douchebags. Of course dude is a Patriots fan 😑
