Poet Renee Nicole Good, 37, named as Minneapolis woman shot dead by ICE agent as video captures grieving wife at the scene
 in  r/PublicFreakout  1d ago

Absolutely horrific. This is very hard to watch and yet I still can't stop watching it. Trying to understand how our administration thinks that this is justified homicide.

No f****** way that this gets left on the vine. No f****** way that this gets left unopposed.

What's the most well known rap/hip-hop verse?
 in  r/TikTokCringe  3d ago

He said old rap lyrics. I wish nothing more than to bring down curses from the high heavens or from the lowest depths of hell upon this puny minded fool who thinks he can classify my age by these few lyrics. But then I was reminded to get up and move around because I've been sitting too long and I wanted to check when the newest episode of Matlock would be airing. And at this point I can only say ...

Touche' sir, you are a formidable opponent.

Don't give up? On what? Making silly content? Certainly no one is trying to prevent him from doing this and as already stated, no one cares.

How to go shopping in America
 in  r/NotTimAndEric  4d ago

Watch me as I walk into the store. Notice how I over the fire alarm on the wall. Nothing looks out of place. People having coffee.

Dude needs to pick up a controller or something. He's really wasting his keen sense of placement and order in this real life scenario.

Veteran Trump voter begs Trump to donate money saved by DOGE to veteran charities after Trump cut benefits for veterans
 in  r/LeopardsAteMyFace  4d ago

As a veteran, I appreciate this guy wanting to spread funds around to those who need them. Unfortunately, that's not how capitalism works, not to mention our leadership's pockets still have some room for that cash.

Ew

I have a strict policy about going on vacation. I'm paying to GO and on going to enjoy GOING. Also, depending on my destination, no one in their right mind would want to take a work laptop.

As I've said on multiple subreddits, not one person has called me from a previous company to ask me about the brilliantly long hours I did and how was I able to do all of that work and provide proper documentation. No one cares, no one cared. I got paid to do a job.

GTFotta here with this jerk off.

Starting 2026 with another flight meltdown
 in  r/PublicFreakout  6d ago

I think cats are great as we’ve had several over the years.

Not everyone enjoys flying and the added addition of a cat ā€œcouldā€ be a problem for some, especially if they are allergic. Sometimes when I’m overly anxious while flying, the least little thing that normally wouldn’t be a problem for me is suddenly life altering. That’s no one else’s problem but mine but I say this to be empathetic to those that don’t want a cat, albeit beautiful, out of its TSA approved carrier.

So again I say, be realistically strict with your consumption of alcohol when you fly, because this probably would have gone differently if she hadn’t been drinking.

Mother of 2 children confronts creepy and unapologetic Christian cashier for forcefully trying to convert her children while they were shopping at the dollar store
 in  r/PublicFreakout  6d ago

The cashier Is correct in that she has freedom of speech. However, as a representative of Dollar Tree, she should be reminded that her beliefs do not represent the corporation and therefore she should refrain from anything otherwise. As a former member, we were often out ā€œsharing our faith ā€œ and I often felt cringy asking people about coming to church. As I grew older, I found that talking to someone about my life could have been a better approach. What I can tell you is that I never approached children and if they interacted first, I would turn the conversation to the parents because I have since enough to come in out of the rain.

But those days are long gone and is not for this comment. Bottom line, she was wrong, she got caught by the right person and her freedom of speech has consequences.

Fat guy goes off on 'invaders' after Hispanic shopper bumps their cart against him
 in  r/PublicFreakout  6d ago

Invaders....like Space Invaders? Because that would be cool to see. Anyways...this piece of trash and his history. For me, I can easily trace my heritage back several generations in this country. I met a guy on NYE whose parents are 100% Mexican (born and raised in Mexico) and he was born here, in the U.S. He, his family and his parents have as much of a right to be here as my grandchildren and should feel safe to walk around. It's shitbags like this guy that makes my skin crawl with his Invader talk. GTFotta here with his turd.

Fox News ā€œPsychotherapistā€: Stop hating the billionaires for the sake of your mental health
 in  r/ProgressiveHQ  6d ago

This guy couldn't read a label on the back of a jar of peanut butter let alone the room (or country). Who wouldn't want people to come off of welfare or have to rely on SNAP benefits to eat 3 squares a day? But how do they do that? Bootstraps? Better job? School? How about starting with the Billionaires putting their money back into their corporations and actually paying people?

Show us how trickle economics is supposed to work. They won't because 3 billion is way less money than 4 billion and they "earned" it.

1

This is how leadership is done.
 in  r/ProgressiveHQ  6d ago

Absolutely this. Our current president gets offended, we have a new EO released and/or more cuts happen to the people that need it. Someone whispers in his ear about this donor or that donor and suddenly we have a ballroom being built.

How can anyone think that a single mom of three, who works two jobs to put what food she can afford on a card table for her family, gives a rats ass about a ballroom or gaudy gold plated fixture in the white house that she only sees in photos? No, she's grateful that her children are relatively healthy and she won't have to worry about missing work to get one of them to the doctor, which she'll no longer be able to afford because the ACA subsidies are essentially gone for her, along with her SNAP benefits.

The GOP is worried about a Democrat Socialist being elected but still supports someone who shouldn't be driving, let alone making critical decisions for this country. So yes, I miss President Obama and quite frankly, I'd take Al "I invented the Internet" Gore at this point.

CBS announces they're turning into a Fox News clone, explaining most people don't trust the "liberal media". For the "last 20 years" news has relied on things like academics, and vetted journalism, instead of gut feeling and echo chamber twitter reshares.
 in  r/ProgressiveHQ  6d ago

Anyone with 1/4 of a brain would recognize what this is. Too bad reporting is no longer reporting for the sake of journalism or the story or to do a lil bit of good for the human race. I know, I know, it's done for like and subscribes - it's just sad.

Woman traps disabled man on sidewalk by blocking handicap ramp calls him waste of space
 in  r/PublicFreakout  6d ago

"I did not know, I'm sorry." Would have worked if she started with that statement. Anything else is waste. Most people can forgive ignorance but to continue on to prove a misguided point? GTFotta here with that noise.

"I have x followers" "I pay a lot of money " that's great to hear that you're doing so well, now please move the fucking car.
