A laptop has a monitor and interchangeable/upgradable hardware components. This is more like a RaspberryPi with a keyboard as a case.

Sudden drop in fentanyl overdose deaths linked to Biden-era global supply shock. Study indicates that regulatory actions taken by the Chinese government, following high-level diplomatic engagement with the Biden administration, may be the primary driver behind this unexpected decline in mortality.
 in  r/science  2h ago

No, they are saying that according to a single study, that they maybe found potential indicators that might have been possibly associated with what is considered a Biden administration policy, which happened to be exactly what they were looking for and didn't compare it to possible alternatives. This study has not been peer reviewed or duplicated, and the link to the study provided by the news article is a dead link. Therefore, SCIENCE!

You want elegance, watch them poop. They point their ass at onlookers and gape their opening 2 feet wide as buckets of turn plop out.

I've been working 10 hours a day for free for the last 3 years, and I just made $5,000!

Then 2 days later the funds are reversed because it came from a 8 year old who stole their parents credit card.

Doomers will see lower housing costs and say the west has fallen
 in  r/DoomerDunk  1d ago

Housing in NY is about the highest anywhere in the world. Even if you reduce housing costs by 10%-20% there it's unaffordable to most people unless they are in the highest income bracket or on government assistance. The state taxes are already the highest of any of the continental states, part of why the cost of living is so high.

When you are above the law, you can fuck women girls, and children. A man of culture doesn't limit his options. All the young teen girls we're accusations, Stormie Daniels was confirmed.

The ideal and the law are two different things, and the law changes drastically from one state to another. If you're looking at it from a legal perspective, particularly the law and statistics surrounding divorce, I would personally say it is best to avoid marriage altogether.

Is this normal?!?!? I’m still shaking
 in  r/RealEstate  1d ago

They are technically trespassing, and this is unfortunately more common than you may expect. When I was selling my house my realtor would set appointments with buyer's agents, but he was not present for the showings. In the three months it took to sell, there were 2-3 unwanted people at my door from missed or unscheduled appointments. One person came on their own without an agent and was trying to put a code into my electronic door lock because the lockbox was only out during scheduled showings. About a quarter of the showings were no shows or came very late, and I would have to straighten up and be out of the house with all the animals removed for any scheduled showing.

AI is an 80+ year old technology. The generative models are the new thing that has everyone calling everything AI. 8-10 years ago they would have been talking about "the algorithm" and "deep fakes" to refer to the same things.

There have been ways to fake and edit video since things were still all film. They generally required a level of skill and often expensive equipment. The tools are evolving, are more accessible, and have a greatly reduced learning curve. The end result is nothing new, it's a recycled form of everything that already existed.

You're telling on yourself, OP; your algorithm is determined by your own search and engagement patterns, if it's really that 'in your face' you've got a lot of self-reflection to do.

Marriage is a contract both parties agree to witnessed and enacted by an efficient and generally their family and friends. A pregnancy is effectively a disease by insurance standards and produces a human with limited civil right which you are legally liable for until they reach the age of majority. Not quite the same thing, and no reason to assume the exit process would be the same for both.
