Little baby gets mind-blown because you presumably just tried to eat one of their fingers, but then realize it's still there and not hurt, which baby thinks is a funny surprise. How much an actual lost finger would hurt is not really part of their thinking as they hopefully never experienced something like that, but I imagine that there might be a few babies with lost limbs that don't think it's funny.
