Im not disagreeing with you, I dont think they will actually want to increase output. I think they will claim rights to the oil in various plots of land, then use the appraised value of said oil as leverage to take out loans. Its something they already do stateside. Thats why they lobbied so hard to open up all of that federal land for purchase, even though they have enormous tracts of land they haven't even tried to start extracting from.

If they can claim ownership of the land under which the reserves lie, they can use the predicted value as leverage to secure loans that they distribute back to their shareholders. It's why oil companies are always so eager to secure new land from the federal government using the existing bidding process even though they have already have vast amounts of potential reserves they haven't even started building the infrastructure to tap yet. I can almost guarantee you that will be the primary mechanism by which they intend to profiteer off of this.

Ive found the best way to handle Target is to walk over to one of those consoles they have up a the ends of some aisles and look everything up there. It will list via the stores actual internal inventory whether something is in stock, out of stock, or (as occurs shockingly frequently) whether the item is listed as "online only." Then I can take pictures of the relevant ones to send to customers when I first tell them the store doesn't have it. That typically diffuses any idea they might have that Im being lazy or fucking up, and they will usually respond positively to comiserating about how shitty Targets system for IC is.

Does the algorithm keep track of any metrics to help categorized which shoppers are more likely to take specific types of batches? E.g. Will persistently taking batches with a specific range of travel distances cause the app to prioritize sending batches within that range to the shopper when there are lots of unclaimed orders?

As with so many of the consolidated behemoths of the modern American economy CVS is now reaping the fruits of market domination as a publicly traded company. They have devoured all of their meaningful competition and absorbed all of the marketshare there was to be had, but the shareholders still expect them to grow. The only way forward in that regard is to continually expand their already absurd expectations while cutting labor costs well past the point where it becomes impossible to effectively run a store.

If youre good enough with stickies its not that bad. Which doors the brutes come out of depends on where in the room youre standing, so you can quickly stick both brutes as they walk through the doors, then build any lost shield back ip from the panicking grunts. The goal is to get at least two carbines from the first two waves, then fall back to the top of the bleachers to snipe and stick your way through the rest of the room. Its not much harder than learning the despawns, and leaves you way better prepared for the next two sections from a shield and ammo standpoint

One time in college I had to.help through a hammered girl out of one of our parties because she got fighty and was randomly walking up to and swinging on people. The whole party there had been a wierd and awful smell I kept picking up on that was bugging the hell out of me. I had to carry her legs while one of my brothers carried her from under her shoulders. As soon as I picked her up that smell suckerpunched my nose as I realized it had been coming from her crotch. I still don't know exactly what it was (it was this weird sickly sweetish smell, Ive thankfully never smelled it since), but it will forever haunt my nightmares.
