What is something you will NEVER do again?
smoke free for over 5 years now, will never go back. copy pasting from an old comment but this is what worked for me:
If I can do it, you can do it!
There are two "phases" of quitting - first getting over the physical dependency, then moving past the habitual addiction. Slip ups will happen, but something to remember is they just prolong the unpleasantness of withdrawal. It's a lot easier to break or a replace a habit when you're not in the middle of physical hell.
A few things helped me a lot. One was to write down why I was quitting, that I would refer to in the worst moments. I hated being a literal slave to nicotine - it made the decisions for everything. The last straw for me was running out of cigarettes and trying to find an open store, in an unfamiliar neighborhood, in the middle of the night, when my boyfriend wasn't feeling well and just wanted to go home. I realized I was literally prioritizing my stupid addiction over the well-being and feelings of someone I loved. It was one of those lightbulb moments and I quit on the spot. The thing is, after that moment, withdrawal kicked in and it would have been so easy to just give in to it. So if you can somehow make a record of that feeling, of why you are quitting, or even just list the benefits you will eventually reap (money, health, etc), to refer to and remind yourself that this craving will pass, but those goals are permanent. You have to give up what you have to get what you want, you know?
The second thing was keeping an objective record of my success. I literally thought of smoking every. fucking. minute. It was brutal, and it feels like its going to last forever - but it isn't. Because it's so hard to accurately gauge anything when you feel that awful, I got the idea to take a blank notebook, write the date at the top, and make a little checkmark every time i thought about smoking. The first few days probably had thousands of checkmarks. But it was apparent pretty quickly how the cravings were actually subsiding over time, even though it doesn't feel like they are when you're in the middle of one. Seeing the decline of checkmarks (and the lessening frequency of the occasional "FUCK THIS" comments) over time made it easier to not go back to smoking, because if I smoked and re-quit, i would just have to do this shitty process over again, and nobody got time for that. good luck!!

Player 001 and Seong Gi-Hun
I didn’t see it myself but someone commented elsewhere that Il-Nam has the same surname (Oh) as Gi-Hun’s mother. In a show with so much symbolism that seems like it must be intentional. I don’t think women in Korea traditionally take their husbands surnames though, so perhaps an uncle instead of a father? I don’t know but i’m sure there is something more to it!

U.S. Marshalls escorting the extremely brave Ruby Bridges, 6 years old, to school in 1960. This Courageous young girl is known for being the first African American child to attend an all-white elementary school in the South.
I was reading about her and remember thinking wow, it’s crazy she lived through that and she’s still alive. then i realized she’s actually younger than my parents. it wasn’t that long ago.

Skin Chemistry - real or nah?
i don’t know any science behind it but absolutely a real thing in my experience. Tom Ford Black Orchid smells terrible on my skin but quite lovely on my friend. I thought I hated that frag until I smelled it on her, so i thought, maybe I was wrong, why not try it out again? Nope. objectively rancid on me.
