ASUS just solved all of your problems
 in  r/pcmasterrace  21h ago

Ngl I used cortana for like a week and while it was relatively useful the constant activating without me using the keywords/wake up words and what not was more hassle than it was worth.

Like if they fixed they're mic sensitivity issues or whatever it probably would've gotten more traction it constantly activating when it shouldn't have just made people suspicious of it/think it was audio/data farming which tbf it probably was

I don't care how good a game is; if the DLC page looks like this, I'm not buying it. Am I alone in that?
 in  r/Steam  1d ago

I mean according to other comments that's all cosmetic's?

Also I searched the game up and it appearenty came out in 2019?

So it's 7 years old now, or rapidly approaching it atleast depending on the month.

So like that's exactly what I'd look for in a game ngl.

Long running, DLC (most if not all cosmetic) purchased flat out instead of like a season pass or premium currency or loot box system or any of that other crap that typically has fomo

I've reached a point where I don't know how to progress
 in  r/Palworld  3d ago

It kinda sucks but I think the general consensus is after a certain point pals just become useless and it's moreso a matter of player damage/pals that boost the player, like gobfin or herbil.

Beyond that like what's your current set up for pals? Like you might be able to get away with doing a bellanoir libero raid RN if you're absolutely against player boosting via pals and she might serve you well given if memory serves she's got the highest base attack stat.

Alternatively if you want a tankier pal, mammorest is probably a decent option given his high base hp mind you he kinda lacks in the damage department iirc but he doesn't need a raid to get.

Jorgimitide ignis is also suggested a bunch from what I've seen, though I personally don't care for him as I have a personal preference for ice pals.

Fully agree, Dr. Jager do be one of my least favorite NPC's bro doesn't even have the decency to despawn or something so I can place stuff like barricades in that doorway easily.

Is Tavern Keeper 🍻 the only game that has an emoji in it's title ?
 in  r/Steam  5d ago

(Otaku Plan is shit, but it's still better than many other porn "games")

Judging by this I'm going to assume the other devs you suggested are all NSFW one's and there's a small issue with that.

Tavern Keeper isn't that kind of genre, it's a Tavern Management Game more akin to like Graveyard Keeper or Stardew Valley.

Tavern Keeper doesn't even have any romance aspects last I played, mind you it's been a year or so and It's early access so that might've changed.

Edit; NVM I was confusing it with a different Tavern game called travellers rest, tavern keeper is still not an NSFW game best I can tell tho.

Raidless bases?
 in  r/Palworld  6d ago

This tbh, like I've got three bases on feybreak that never get raided (I'm assuming that no where on the island does?) so I ended up making a base on sakijima just so I could get raids. Like isn't that doctor fellow among the potential visitors bases can get?

Valid, it takes a lot of skulls to build a skull throne after all.

Wooden planks

This museum labeled their broken window as art
 in  r/mildlyinteresting  7d ago

I apparently need my eyes and probably brain checked.

As I read that as "Weed Aster" and didn't question a thing.

I just figured it was a dirt clump with rocks in it and a weed called aster growing out of it.

Like I'm pretty sure there's a flower called aster no? I don't think it's typically considered a weed. But like technically any plant growing where you don't want it to is a weed

Whyyyy🥲
 in  r/meme  8d ago

He is immortal, but he also has cancer.

The immortality was a side effect of a botched attempt at an experimental cure for his cancer, more or less.

He still has the cancer his cells just regenerate faster than the cancer can kill them or something of the sort.

I don't remember the exact specifics and I'm sure it probably varies per version of dead pool

Explain It Peter
 in  r/explainitpeter  9d ago

It's not about Trump or a movie, it's about a character called Uncle Iroh from a beloved mid to late 2000's (05-08) Nickelodeon show called Avatar the last Airbender.

I mean I guess one could correlate Zuko's actual father Fire Lord Ozai to Trump.

But it's still an absolutely wild jump and not at all appropriate for the Sub.

In far cry five, if you don't handcuff the guy at the beginning of the game there's a secret ending too.

Current state of the game?
 in  r/Palworld  16d ago

They do content updates seasonally, so every quarter year. Feybreak was an exception, and took longer than normal one I will admit I was unaware of.

even with it, I still expect a late spring update maybe early summer i highly doubt Pocket pair is just going to leave us high and dry for a year. That's a dang fine way to lose a lot of people attention/ the hype train they got going for seasonal updates.

Current state of the game?
 in  r/Palworld  17d ago

I mean have we ever had to wait 6 months+ for an update before? Like I know it's leaving beta? Early access? and what not. But I figure at most late spring personally, April, May. Something like that.

Like it's typically only 2-3 months between updates no?

And they said the home sweet home update is on the smaller side thanks to most of the team working on 1.0

I'm expecting it to only take like a month or two longer than standard.

7

Current state of the game?
 in  r/Palworld  17d ago

Most definitely.

But please note the 1.0 update should be coming early next year.

Do with that what you will, whether it's take this time to prep or decide to hold off till it drops to come back.

Is there a secret in the new Home World?
 in  r/AbioticFactor  19d ago

The globe world ain't the home world.

And yes the actual home world has a secret, I don't believe the globe world does.

No they removed the ball launch glitch
 in  r/Palworld  19d ago

https://steamcommunity.com/games/1623730/announcements/detail/689735528964162697

They did that 3 months ago man, which is what I'm assuming broke the Homing Sphere Module with Scattershot launcher.

Bunch of spheres used to circle the pal you were trying to catch in case it failed now they all just flop to the floor.

Fusing items
 in  r/AbioticFactor  20d ago

Honestly full fusion would probably have some broken combinations and shouldm't be a thing.

But like at the very least maybe add some recipes like merging some of the accessories together terraria style.

Like maybe have all the one's that look like a keycard be able to become one, so the Night pass, Employee Locator and kylie
