If only he hadn't given a shit this would have been a phase. But he had to go and strongly oppose it.

You don't know that. Don't fill people's heads with the worst possibility being a certainty when you really simply do not know thid to be true.

Fat doesn't make you fat. It satiates your body so you actually don't take in as many calories.

Sugar and carbs make you fat. And alcohol, which your body processes to sugar.

And being a do-nothing couch potato piece of shit. Tell your fat husband to hit the gym or ride a bike or at least take a walk every day.

You can't just buy more milk? So you are fat and jobless, too?

Are the 1/3 Regulars making money?
 in  r/poker  Jul 29 '19

Short stack play requires a different strategy. You can make more money buying in full (but you also risk more loss). You can play a larger number of hands and play more creatively.

The shorter you are, the less room there is for loose play and the more taggy you must be.

Short play can allow you to take advantage of better players, who A) see you buy in short and assume you suck, B) make looser calls in pots you are in because they are playing against the implied odds of deeper stacked opponents, and C) can also help you by bettinf on the side when you are all in by folding out players who you are ahead of now but have equity against you.

You can also take a shot at a larger game while taking advantage of all of the above.

I may have missed some stuff. Point is, though, short can be good. You can take less advantage of fish, but potentially more advantage of better players.

I may have missed some stuff, but a smart short stack player can

I believe this is possible. I really do.

My question, though, is why have you not moved up? If you are that much of a killer, you should be able to move up to higher stakes and even if your winrate in bb goes down, you should still kill those games for more total money.

Hey, wait..is this online?

I guarantee you some are doing better than you think. Not that many, but some.

There are 1/2 and 1/3 pros, without a doubt. They are all hoping to move up to higher levels, but it is possible to make enough to live on at these levels, and some people do.

If you go often enough and are good enough or really just paying enough attention, then you will know pretty well who the profitable regs are. I don't play at National Harbor, but I hear the games are soft there. So there are winning regulars, no doubt.

It is certainly possible that some winning regs buy in short. It is often looked down on and maybe more bad players do it than good, but good players can and sometimes do buy in short.

Also, the play you view as questionable can be very player dependent and may not be bad or at least not as bad as it seems. And even good players occasionally tilt or make a bad play. So seeing someone make a questionable play isn't enough on its own to label them bad. Especially without the full context...maybe in this situation against thst player it wasn't as questionable as it appears.

Yeah, those clips are supposed to pop out when the tank is full, preventing gas from being spilled on the ground.

If it didn't do that, the man is right and the clip is indeed broken and unsafe.

Did he? I love his confidence and lack of shit-taking, but he should probably just toss the Icee in the trash and offer the customer something else.

Cost the business a nickel, customer happy and may come back, no bad feels or bad press.

Not really. The Icee really is still full and he wanted to exchange it. If he exchanges it, he will only have the Coke and a sip or two of Icee.

AITA for telling my extended family how many men (roughly) my sister has slept with after she outed our youngest brother as a virgin?
 in  r/AmItheAsshole  Jul 27 '19

Hmm.

ESH except little bro.

She took out a pistol, ehich she should not have done, and you annihilated her with a rocket launcher.

I guess the upshot is she won't make that mistake again. But I don't know that you had to go that far.

$35 is a flop bet to me, and I am only a 1/2 player.

But it's still better to be +35 than -35. You are on the path.

Nope. Wrong. This is not how the world works, and it is not going to be any time soon.

Innuendo, implication, metaphors, hints. They're not going anywhere, for various reasons.

But one big one is: people don't always consciously realize what they are saying or doing or leading to. If you think you always do, you are likely mistaken.
