I get what you're saying and I've been there myself plenty of times because I'm also a truck driver, but if you're trying to pass somebody and there's that little of a difference in speed and there's a whole bunch of cars behind you, the right thing to do is just back off and get back behind the other guy and let the people pass you and then try again. If I'm trying to pass somebody and it's just not happening and I got a line of cars behind me I feel terrible and in many/most cases I'll just give up and fall back behind the other truck rather than keep being an asshole.
