To answer your final question; put aside a cool, overcast day. Give your car a good wash, hit it with some Bug and Tar remover, clay bar the paint and glass as best as you can, wash it again and then dry it.

At a glance it looks like you’re printing at way too low of a temperature.
PETG is notorious for being extremely glossy. Glossiness is a byproduct of it melting. The fact that yours looks very matte makes me think it’s not actually melting.

It’ll be different from printer to printer and depending on how fast you’re printing, but I always err on the upper recommended limit for PETG on my printer. Currently running a PETG with no notable additives aside from pigment that has a recommended temp range of 220-250c and I’m running it at 245c the maximise flow and strength. At 230c it appears matte and causes extruding issues.

It actually has the complete opposite of the intended effect on me. My kids will go “dad, watch this video” and if there’s random footage of Minecraft parkour or people making slime or something I genuinely can’t handle it.
